PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS
  • "This is alright and it does what it says as it's good for oily skin and as other people said it's good at matching skin tones... but I don't like the texture and it's too 'matte' for me." in 168 reviews
  • "This is the first full coverage foundation that I have used that doesn't feel heavy to get everything covered and blended." in 98 reviews
  • "The only down side is that their are not enough color options the darkest color was sand when I bought this and that is no where near my skin tone." in 91 reviews
  • "i loved this foundation it gave me some awesome full coverage and it also felt so light on my face , also a little goes a long way with this product !" in 70 reviews
  • "Amazing coverage and does stay on a lot, it lasts quite a long time however there aren't a good range of tones and it leaves your skin feeling quite dry, if you have normal or oily skin then this is a good foundation, do not use if you have dry skin or if you like natural looking foundations, this one is very obvious and thick coated." in 68 reviews

The
best base. I had the opportunity to try some bases but none I finished
convincing some I did not cover enough and others left the face greasy.
But when I got to this base, I finished. It
is a base of a high coverage is mousse type, easy to apply and does not
accent on all facial expression lines is long lasting, so if you go out
in the morning and get home at night will continue to base. The
most important thing for me its matte effect for me is important
because I am not worried every time if my face became fat. Especially I
apply myself with fingers never try to apply with a sponge. I
do not feel that it should be applied with brushes by the type of
consistency of the base. It diffuses very subtly and leaves the
porcelain skin. But as not everything is good. I
do not give the 5 stars because the darkest tone they gave me was the
300 ARENA and this is a lighter shade than my skin if I have to merge
with another darker base. I think they have a tone plus the number 400, but they never got the times I look for

I have never been so disappointed in a product in my life. It's very cakey & almost impossible to use. I even tried different ways applying it & it's def not for me. If you have a blemish & need it covered it looks 10x worse. Wouldn't buy it again & I def wouldn't recommend it to anyone I liked.

((If you have trouble with dry skin also don't buy this. It will worsen the problem))

Review for: Other
I tried the Rimmel London Stay Matte liquid mousse foundation. I hear a lot of negative things about this foundation; a lot of people were telling me that it looked too cakey, it really defined their pores, and it was way too thick. Needless to say, I was nervous about trying this foundation out. I got this in the color Fair Ivory. I was worried this would be too light, but it actually fit my skin color very well. When I first squeezed some of this out of the tube on to my hand, I was shook at how thick it was. It is a mousse foundation, though, so it makes sense that it has a the density of mousse.  I spread some out on my face with a brush and then started blending with a sponge. I immediately realized that this product does not blend well with a sponge, it’s just way too thick for that. So, not to be deterred despite my fear of how this would turn out, I grabbed my trusty e.l.f. cosmetics foundation buffing brush and got to work. Using the brush was much easier, the foundation blended out beautifully with the brush. It’s a full coverage foundation, which I really like. This foundation looked is very light on my skin, I can’t even feel it at all. It’s also very smooth and soft. It controlled my oil all day, especially on my nose. I didn’t think that it accentuated my pores in anyway, in fact my pores look almost non-existent. I have a lot of texture on my nose and my cheeks right next to my nose, it’s something I pretty self-conscious of, and the Stay Matte foundation helped hide that very well. It’s not completely invisible, obviously, but it’s mush less obvious. Overall, I really like this foundation, I think I will use it quite a bit. Everyone is different, though, so what works for me may not work for you. I know that this one hasn’t worked for everyone, but I know it also worked for others. My only suggestion is to test it out. It’s not expensive, and if it doesn’t work for you then you can always return it to the store you bought it from. I love how full the coverage is and how soft it is on my skin. So if you are looking for a fuller coverage matte foundation, then try out the Rimmel London Stay Matte foundation.

It's an okay product but it makes my skin peel and look a little cakey. It blends with other products pretty well though.

I love this product because of it coverage. I have always suffered from bad redness on my cheeks and this really evens it out. I also have oily skin so this is the perfect product for me as it has a very matte finish and I now don't even need to use powder anymore. I can go slightly patchy at the end or the day but it doesn't look to bad. They also have a good range of colours as I am very fair skinned. Would rd comment this to anyone with skin similar to mine. This is so beautiful! I can't believe such a light fluffy foundation is at the drugstore. It covers nicely, and blends well. I have used both a beauty blender and brush, and both were successful. After wearing this all day, I checked my makeup and was pleasantly surprised at it's staying power. A definite recommendation. (Note, I have combination skin, mild sun damage, early signs of aging.)

I use this foundation product for everyday wear. Using a little bit goes a long ways. This product is a full coverage foundation and has a very light feeling on the skin. I have redness, uneven skin tones, and dark spots on my face and this foundation helps to even those out to create a flawless finish.

Well I went out on a limb and bought drug store foundation because I ran out of daily user (Younique) and I didn't want to use my weekend foundation (IT cosmetics). I didn't want to get anything crazy expensive at the drug store being that it was just to get my By until the next shipment came in with my foundation. I have used Rommel London primer before and was happy with it.
Long story short. I found that the coloring on the outside of the package was very easy to throw me off. I usually like to do a test swatch on my arm and I did and I thought it was a little light but who wouldn't want to be lighter with a little bronzer vs. being way to dark. So I went with the lightest one they had (Light Porcelain) as I am always the lightest or second lightest in Foundation. I search this one I bought and the second lightest and I found that it was dramatically darker. Wasn't impressed.
I bought this just because I've never tried their foundation before. Why not right?
WORST FOUNDATION EVER.
Great creamy texture would surely make anyone think this is going to be a wonderful product. WRONG.
It doesn't look good when on at all. Very splotchy. I've tried different amounts of foundation a million times about now. Doesn't cover any of my redness. I am practically just putting useless material on my face. Doesn't blend. Doesn't hold up well. Doesn't go on well at all either.

I simply love, has an excellent duration and complies with what promises to leave a matte look on my face very soft and i need very little quantity. what i find it a little difficult is the choice of color
