For the price, this foundation is pretty good. It is really thick, not liquidy at all. For this reason, I find it easier to apply with a foundation brush than a beauty blender. This foundation looks really good on my skin except on my nose. Even with pore-filling primers this product tends to settle into my large pores and smile lines pretty badly and can look cakey there. The product is definitely 100% matte though. It really doesn't even need to be set with a powder. Overall I like it but obviously, it doesn't really compete with more expensive foundations.

This was probably the worst foundation I've used. I may have gotten the wrong color, but I really wanted to like this product. It's way too thick and hard to blend as well. I like that it is full coverage but I wish it was more liquidity than a moose form. I may end up trying this product again if I can get my right shade.

I tried the Rimmel London Stay Matte liquid mousse foundation. I hear a lot of negative things about this foundation; a lot of people were telling me that it looked too cakey, it really defined their pores, and it was way too thick. Needless to say, I was nervous about trying this foundation out. I got this in the color Fair Ivory. I was worried this would be too light, but it actually fit my skin color very well. When I first squeezed some of this out of the tube on to my hand, I was shook at how thick it was. It is a mousse foundation, though, so it makes sense that it has a the density of mousse. I spread some out on my face with a brush and then started blending with a sponge. I immediately realized that this product does not blend well with a sponge, it’s just way too thick for that. So, not to be deterred despite my fear of how this would turn out, I grabbed my trusty e.l.f. cosmetics foundation buffing brush and got to work. Using the brush was much easier, the foundation blended out beautifully with the brush. It’s a full coverage foundation, which I really like. This foundation looked is very light on my skin, I can’t even feel it at all. It’s also very smooth and soft. It controlled my oil all day, especially on my nose. I didn’t think that it accentuated my pores in anyway, in fact my pores look almost non-existent. I have a lot of texture on my nose and my cheeks right next to my nose, it’s something I pretty self-conscious of, and the Stay Matte foundation helped hide that very well. It’s not completely invisible, obviously, but it’s mush less obvious. Overall, I really like this foundation, I think I will use it quite a bit. Everyone is different, though, so what works for me may not work for you. I know that this one hasn’t worked for everyone, but I know it also worked for others. My only suggestion is to test it out. It’s not expensive, and if it doesn’t work for you then you can always return it to the store you bought it from. I love how full the coverage is and how soft it is on my skin. So if you are looking for a fuller coverage matte foundation, then try out the Rimmel London Stay Matte foundation.
I love how inexpensive this is yet it works phenomenally well! I have oily skin and it keeps oil at bay and lasts throughout the entire day. Not many foundations out there can do that! I’ve been using this foundation for a long time and it’s never let me down.
This is my favorite drugstore brand foundation. Full coverage and lasts longer than some $60 foundations I've tried. Sometimes it can cake or settle in my pores, but using a primer and setting spray with it helps. Great product for an amazing price!!!
This is one of the best drugstore foundations I have tried. It is very thick though, so when applying, use a light amount and blend before just slapping on the usual amount of product you use. It blends well and is true to its name- you look matte!
This is my new favorite drug store foundation. It's super affordable ($5 I think) and the coverage is fantastic. Stays on well and helps my face not be oily. This color was actually a bit dark for me but I repurchased in porcelain and it's perfect.

As far as inexpensive foundations go, Rimmel does a good job of providing a flawless look on a budget. It’s a full coverage cream that blends easily. The only downside is how it applies on dry skin. It tends to make my dry skin more visible and red.
