I've used everything from drugstore to high end liners as well as everything from liquid to pencil to gel formulas. This liner is incredibly easy to work with and dries to a perfect dark matte black that lasts until I decide to take it off. The brush that comes with the eyeliner may work for some people, but keep in mind it's not the star of the show. I've seen a lot of negative reviews because of the brush, which unfortunately brings the average down. You can use any brush you'd like. I prefer using my small angled precision eyeliner brush. I can get a nice, thin line and can get the 'flick' done perfectly for cat eyes. This pot of eyeliner will last a long, long time. I had never used a gel liner before this one. And I love it. It's always my goto eyeliner gel. And it's the only eyeliner I use.
This gel linee is amazing for being drug store wprth the money. It is inexpensive. Ot is waterproof does not get flakey.

This liner was definitely something I had to get used to but it's highly pigmented and doesn't budge once it's on.

I prefer the gel myself. Sometimes I can't achieve the look I want with liquid and this is much easier use.
I've never tired gel liner. I love how smooth and dark the liquid is but a pencil is much easier.. perhaps it is the best of both worlds?

I love this its great for beginners and its truly the best of both worlds . The only bad thing about it is that after a few months it starts to get dry.

Yes yes yes. Gel eyeliner is all I use. Once you use it and see how slick and smooth it goes on you'll never went to go back to pencils.
Does this eyeliner apply thick ? How many hours of wear can you get out of it

One side the lines are think the other side you can make it a bit thin. I love the blue thick eyeliner because of my hooded eyelids.
