The Ridgid shop vac is quite a great addition for the DIYer. It's been used to effectively collect dust from miter, jig, table, and circular saws in the shop, outside, and at work locations throughout the house. It's super light when empty and very easy to move around. The vac effectively cleans debris of varying sizes, ranging from drywall sanding to router table debris and even grinder debris. For use as a dust collection system, a cyclone bucket will significantly prolong filter life. Stores under my workbench when not in use. It is somewhat loud but it packs an oomph

My husband loves this! It’s the perfect size and easy to put together/use instead of getting the regular vacuum out. It is a staple with all of our new house projects!
