- "this concealer surprised me. (i got this in exchange for my review courtesy of crowdtap) i did not expect it to work so well but it is amazing for dark circles under the eye! for some reason, it doesn't work the same for hyperpigmentation but it also works for redness! i do think the packaging is not so good and the price is a little high for revlon so 4 stars." in 73 reviews
- "i love this concealer. i have tried both this and the [product:revlon-colorstay-concealer] . i definitely prefer this one because it gives you more coverage. i love the stick application because it makes it good for travel. this concealer is creamy, glides on smooth, and is easy to blend. i haven't had any trouble with creasing, but i set my under eye with a banana powder. - "i used to use this all the time. it does cover up nicely but on acne spots i still had to build it up to cover the redness, which was kind of a bummer. also, if your oily it doesnt last very long on its own. its very creamy and easily blendable on my skin." in 40 reviews
I bought the shade light (002) without testing it but figured at thebpeice point and with my skin being fairly pale in winter, I'd be able to at least blend it with another shade if it wasn't right for me.
***It worked; and not just as a concealer but a highlighter too! If you want the look of contouring without the shimmer or "unicorn/festival" effects then grab a concealer that is 1 to 2 shades lighter than your skin tone (usually what you'd use for under eye concerns) and draw away.
I have been using this concealer for many years. Over the years and as much as I acquire others, I return to Revlon PhotoReady Concealer. I love its finish because it is not matte, the area looks healthy and hydrated. At least in my case, I have no problems with creasing and blending very well with the rest of the makeup. That yes, the times that I have tried to use to cancel dark spots on my face, as the hours go by it looks like a cakey. Therefore, I only use it to cancel dark circles and certainly give a little color to a stain of vitiligo that I have in one of my under eye.
