- "The shade that I have matches perfectly with my skin tone and it is a medium coverage foundation so I find that it covers just the right amount." in 5 reviews
I have the 002 Vanilla shade. And I never thought I'd say this about a foundation, but it's actually TOO LIGHT for me. I'm a natural redhead with extremely pale skin, and this foundation is paler than me. If I apply it with a foundation brush it literally looks like my skin is made of porcelain -- and not in a good way.
It works okay if I use a little, and blend it very well with my Quo blending sponge (excellent $6 dupe for the Beauty Blender, btw). The last time I wore it, my nose got oily after a few hours, and the foundation separated and looked icky in that area. I had to wash it off, and apply some powder I had in my purse. I hadn't used my Stila primer balm that day, so maybe it wouldn't have happened if I had used an oil-controlling primer.
I'll keep it in my makeup drawer just in case I have a blemish I need to cover, but I wouldn't purchase it again. It might be good for someone who needs a budget-friendly full-coverage foundation.
