I use this literally every day! It goes on so well and lasts just like it says. It first goes on with a dewy look then settles more like a matte. As long as you set this with a powder it looks so good and leaves a great airbrushed finish.

ecently switched up my skin routine & my skin went from oily as hell to superrr dry. I went into Ulta & asked for a light to medium coverage foundation for dry skin & the associate led me to this! She shade matched me with a 2.0 to balance pink undertones in my skin. I was impressed with the shade match & even more impressed with how natural the finish was! I've never in my life been in love with a foundation but this has become my holy grail! No separation, no settling-just a perfectly natural finish. I have a co-worker who calls me out *every* time I wear foundation & she hasn't said a word since I've got this! If it can fool her it can probably fool anyone.

I use moisturizer & a cheap ELF primer & then apply Naked Skin with either a beauty blender (for light coverage) or a brush (for medium). It's a water-based formula so be sure to shake before!!  I've found that just one layer  (1-2 pumps) does the trick for me, but the Ulta associate told me full coverage is possible with a second or third application.

I can't comment on how it works with textured skin, but I do have somewhat prominent acne scarring on my temples & cheeks & this does a great job at camouflaging! One layer doesn't provide full coverage but it does minimize the redness to make them less noticeable & that's all I'm really looking for. Maybe a multiple layers would do the trick?

A word of caution to my oily-skinned people: about a year ago (when my skin was still crazy oily), my cousin used this foundation when she did my makeup for her (hot & humid) beach wedding, & I really wasn't impressed with how it wore. By the end of the day it had separated & settled into the areas around my pores & into laugh lines I don't even have. I think a setting powder might have saved me but who knows, maybe the weather was just too much...or maybe it's just not ideal for oily skin.

Love love love this foundation. Its my holy grail (day to day holy grail) gives a medium coverage and its buildable. Keeps my oil at bay and leaves me matte all day! Applies lovely and doesnt go patchy or oxidise while drying. For a drugstore foundation this is really good. The price tag is about £12.99 but theres often offers on at boots so its even cheaper, this lasts me about 6 weeks and i use it 5 or 6 days a week! The colour range is amazing and natural looking (no tangerines here) i use this as my day to day foundation as its so light and you can barely feel that its on your face! I would 100% reccomend this product, especially if you suffer with normal/combination skin.

Use this product in Buff for combination oily skin. Find it super easy to apply, with a matte (but not too matte) finish. Medium but buildable coverage which makes it extremely versatile. I’ve been using this foundation for about 4 years, and although I have tried other foundations I always return to this one. It doesn’t crease, or oxidise on your skin, and powders blend really well over the top of it. It doesn’t slide off my face the way others have in the past, and covers any blemishes or uneven skintone without needing any colour correcting first!

This foundation has been my SAVIOR ever since I started using it. Having constant break-outs and oftentimes red patches on my face, I’ve been searching forever for a foundation that gave me the coverage I needed, as well as having amazing staying power and working well on my dry skin. This foundation does all that! It leaves my face so well covered, dewy looking and layers really well. Cant get enough of this foundation and would recommend it for anyone with similar skin to mine (though they do it for oily skin too and it’s apparently really good!)

I''l be onest. At first I hated this foundation. It left my face looking cakey, with dry oily skin coming up from it. Ive had it for over a year now and I couldn't be more in love with it. Sounds weird I know. The reason why I hated it is because I didnt take my time to apply and use it properly on my face. Its very high coverage but its very light weight so you can barely tell it's there.  At first its very very wet and liquidy and definetly doesnt look good. But the moment it starts to slowly dry down and you buff it n with your beauty blender/ sponge the magic starts to happen. There is not dry skin coming through. My foundation is a 110 Ivory Combination which is really good for oily areas and dry skin just like mine and it worked flawlessly. I couldn't go a day without it so far. One of my holy grail foundations. Very cheap, long lasting, matte finish. What else would you want ? Revlon Colorstay Makeup

Revlon Colorstay Foundation is an excellent choise for a person with oily skin.

Good things about this foundation:

1. The coverage of this foundation is amazing as promised! If you are looking for a medium to full coverage wtih a semi-matthe finish, this one is for you.

2. Looks really natural on the skin, because of its matte coverage.

3. Lasts up to 10 hours for me! The only problem is that I have to apply powder again after a couple of hours, but this doesn’t bother me that much.

4. This foundation is an ideal choice if most of your work is outdoor.

Bad stuff about this foundation:

1. It has a strong smell like paint or alcohol.

2. It does not come with a pump like usual liquid based foundations in market, so you have to be extra careful while applying it.

3. Does not offer a wide variety of shades.

4. The medium coverage cannot be ideal for skin with acne scars.

MY CONCLUSION?

If you have oily skin you will adore this foundation! Personally, I will rebuy it for the 5th time now.

Price: almost 15$ where I live.

This stuff. This foundation has carried me through many long nights, I've cried while wearing it, laughed myself silly, sweat, and even found myself under fluorescent lighting in public bathrooms looking back at myself and thinking, "Damn, this stuff really holds up." Because it does. It stays looking the exact same as when you put it on basically until you wash it off.  I find myself reaching for this (I use the version for Normal/Dry skin) more than high-end foundations I own quite often. It's my Holy Grail Drugstore foundation, and one of my all-time favorite foundations. I've used it for years, and will continue to keep it in my makeup bag for as long as they make it. The only times I don't reach for it are days when I know I want something super sheer and easy to wash off because ColorStay can definitely be tough to get off. (I use micellar water, AND my Kiehl's Ultra face wash, then sometimes another layer of micellar water.)

This is my first and only liquid foundation that I have ever purchased, tried or owned. I never had the inclination to try a liquid foundation before but I was looking for something that would provide me with a little bit more coverage than my usual BB cream with mineral foundation routine. I was interested to try this because it is supposed to be the ‘M.A.C. Studio Fix Foundation’ drugstore duplicate. I first tried this product during my previous November 2010 acne outbreak and I am currently on my second bottle.

The texture is quite runny but it dries quickly on the skin. I should warn you that this foundation can be quite drying and will look cakey if you apply too much.

I use the “Combination/Oily Skin” formula in Golden Beige. The shade is a near perfect match for my skin since it has just the right amount of yellow undertones. I would have to say that this foundation provides medium to full coverage, especially for those of you who may have no blemishes (or only a few blemishes). This foundation will do a good job covering most (up to 90%) of hyperpigmentation scars that are about 1 week old. I would warn you that it won’t do much to cover new areas of hyperpigmentation and hypertrophic (raised) or atrophic (depressed/indented) scars. It does a pretty good job covering up pores and giving a smooth, matte finish because of it’s silicon-infused formula.

I was surprised that this liquid foundation actually felt very light on my skin – it didn’t feel like I had any foundation on at all. If you set it with a good finishing powder (I use the Maybelline Dream Matte Powder), the oil control of this foundation is actually pretty good. My skin will last up to 6-8 hours without getting oily if it is also set with powder. I don’t even need to blot!

This foundation doesn’t oxidize on my skin at all. Coverage doesn’t fade throughout the day like my BB creams do, so rarely do I ever even need to touch-up and re-cover blemishes. However, I generally still don’t like using a liquid foundation all the time so I use this as a concealer more than an all-over the face foundation.

A plus about this foundation is that it does have a little bit of SPF (I believe it has an SPF of 6) and uses titanium dioxide, which is a plus for me because I definitely prefer physical sunscreens over chemical sunscreens.

This is a beautiful high coverage grocery foundation with matte finish, the packaging is very practical with a dispenser. My skin is dry and even when it is to my type I find the finish maybe too matte. The price is perfect for the product and the thing I didn’t like was the tone offer, why are there fewer for dry skin than oily and why are most of the subtones rose? This isn’t right for my skin but I mix it and love the result.
