FOR ONCE in my life, i went to the drugstore and found a foundation LIGHT ENOUGH for my skin tone. it’s supposedly 24 hr wear, though i wouldn’t ever recommend wearing makeup for that long... the shade is 110 ivory, and while it is accurate for my skin tone, i’d say ‘ivory’ based on past foundation shades with that name is the wrong choice for this. this should be called porcelain at least. the formula is for normal/dry skin, and since i have that skin type, i was excited for a shade that matched and a formula just for my skin type. unfortunately it clings to dry patches i didn’t even know i had, and ultimately MAKES ME LOOK OLD. no freakin joke it makes my skin feel way more dry than it already is and i LOOK OLD. I actually look old. if i put on the teeniest amount, it actually looks kind of okay (until hours pass and it dries out my skin???) although still clingy and chalky. good job Revlon for the shade range, but this formula is NOT good for normal/dry skin in the slightest. photo shown is my maybelline fit me concealer compared to the revlon colorstay foundation. i didn’t find a single revlon concealer that would have been lighter than the foundation, and as you can see the maybelline concealer is darker than this foundation.... i’m sick of being forced to buy high end foundations so they match my skin..

After staring at this in rite aid, I finally decided to risk it all and try this. I was scared it wasn't going look good on me, but after I gave it a chance it blended pretty nicely. I like how lightly it goes on, and I apply it with a brush and I feel that just 2 dots go a long way. Its perfect for the summer, I've even wore it to the sprinklers and my face got pretty wet, and the coverage is just impeccable. I used to spend $38+ on a decent foundation. However, now I think I'll stick to this. My face also gets really oily but thankfully this foundation isn't heavy and I don't feel like my pores are being clogged. I used a swipe of air spun powder and spray with some rose spray and my face feels so soft and I don't look like a grease ball. I apply this foundation at 7:45 a.m and end the day by 10.45 and my foundation is still in place. For the price its pretty amazing. (For the days I get no sleep, I apply maybelline eye concealer age rewind before this foundation and it's pretty awesome.)

If you're looking for a full coverage foundation from the drugstore, I would highly recommend picking this up.  The shade range is decent.  Ivory is a little dark for me in the winter, but works beautifully when my skin is a little more tanned in the summer.  It's more of a neutral undertone, but works for my warm/olive skin.  The packaging is some of the best in my opinion (even better than highend).  I love that it comes with a pump and is easy to use even when you get to the bottom of the bottle.   It's a thick formula, but blends out very easily.  It doesn't clog my pores or sink into fine lines.  It covers all of my acne scars and also any active acne that I have.  It also lasts all day on my oily skin.  If you haven't tried this yet, you're missing out!

Someone recommended me this foundation because I’ve been looking for a drugstore full coverage foundation for awhile. I purchased it expecting it to be just like every other drugstore foundation; not full coverage. I was wrong. This is possibly the best one out there! I have a lot of acne scars and this covers them so well. It last for up to 8-9 hours for me without having to blot. The only thing I noticed is that it looks kind of heavy on me and emphasizes my pores even with primer on. I can usually fix it with some powder though. Other than that, it is amazing. The price, coverage, color, finish, etc! AND IT HAS A PUMP. 😍

Pros:  The price!  At only $13, this foundation definitely isn’t breaking the bank.  Another cool thing is that it comes in Combination/Oily formula OR Normal/Dry formula, so if your skin changes with the season, you can just pick up a different formula instead of switching brands.  Each formula has TWENTY shades, so it’s not hard to find a shade that works for you.  This foundation goes on easily — it doesn’t dry quite as quickly as many long-wearing foundations, so you don’t have to be as careful in application.

Cons:  None, really!

Overall, I really liked this foundation.  Do I like it as well as the Kat Von D Lock-It?  No.  It doesn’t provide the same amount of coverage.  While many reviews list this as a full coverage foundation, I’d have to say it’s decidedly a MEDIUM.  If you are looking for a long lasting foundation that is not super heavy, that makes this a great option!  It went on nice, not at all cakey, and was easy to blend.

As far as longevity, I found it to be pretty decent.  While it won’t look fresh and flawless after 12 hours, it will get you through an 8 workday looking nice, provided you aren’t sweating outside in the heat.  If you’re wanting to carry your make-up over to evening, you will most definitely need a refresher mid-evening.

I have combination/oily skin and this foundation worked great for me. It’s Medium coverage I wish it was full coverage tho. The shade that I have is 360 golden caramel but is to dark for my skin tone. It sucks I can’t never find the right shade for me. Revlon Colorstay MakeUp SoftFlex Combination Oily Skin

This Foundation is a medium coverage Foundation. I was hoping for a full coverage Foundation. It applies rather streaky with a brush. I picked the porcelain color because I'm fair and oxidizes rather Orange. I just don't like the way this Foundation sits on my skin. You can tell I'm wearing makeup and it looks like I'm wearing theater makeup. It also makes my skin up here very dry.

I have been wearing this foundation (in Buff) off and on since high school - I am 33 now. I have tried many high end foundations - Bobbi Brown, MUFE, Lancôme, NARS, etc. - but always end up coming back to Colorstay, especially now that they added a pump to the packaging. The coverage is buildable and very natural. I typically apply with my hands to have more control over the coverage but it also goes on beautifully with a high quality foundation brush. A little goes a long way, and it really does last ALL DAY (7 am to 7 pm or longer if I use setting powder) on my combination skin, like no other foundation I’ve tried. This is crucial as I work full time and the rest of the week I’m chasing after a very active three-year-old. Buff is also an outstanding shade match for my fair olive toned skin, probably the best I have ever found- most foundations are way too pink or orange for me. On a superficial note, I find the packaging kind of boring and slightly cheap looking, but the glass bottle does give it a nice weight. You can’t beat the price, but I would pay more for nicer packaging.

I have been using this foundation for a solid few weeks and I’m really loving it. I have combination skin oily and dry. I went ahead and purchased the formula specifically for oily skin. I did my research while looking for a reliable foundation. I wanted something affordable and rebliable. I have finally found my match while avoiding the higher end costs of department stores although, this foundation is somewhat pricey for a drugstore brand. The formula is smooth and buildable. This is full coverage but the spf 15 makes this wearable all day without feeling cakey. 🍰 I love it! (The other product is a basic pressed powder by covergirl that I have been using for YEARS. Overall a good combo.)

I bought this foundation in the combination/oily formulation. I purchased it at Walmart and it was under $7 (CVS charges double for this foundation). I love that it has an SPF built in and it was so affordable I'm not afraid to use a good amount with each use.

I apply this foundation with a makeup sponge and it lasts all day. I don't look greasy at the end of the day and the foundation actually stays on. Also, this foundation does not dry out or irritate my sensitive skin. This is a staple of my makeup regimen.
