I can not say enough good things about this product. I have very dark brown hair and I got highlights saying I wanted them to look natural. The guy made them way too light and they were straight up blonde. I hated it. I looked like a skunk and for a week I constantly had my hair up in a pony-tail or bun because it was the only way it looked kind of ok. I finally ended up dying my hair after a week and a half (I was trying to get used to it and not do anything too rash and quickly). I went to the store and got this hair dye. I love it so much! It is simple, easy to put in, there is a lot of color options, and is very cheap. It also doesn't leave my hair feeling dry and dead. This was the first time I had ever died my hair at home and alone at that and I was able to do very well (I looked up some tips). My hair was all one color mostly after wards. I did miss a few spots and I have a lot of hair (Boob length, very curly, and super thick) so I wished I actually bought two so I could saturate my hair better but that was all my error and this hair dye is so cheap that buying two is no big deal. So two weeks after the first dye job, I went through and did a second dye job to touch up the missed spots . Now it has been six weeks or so since I did the second dye job and I am doing a third to actually go darker then my natural dark brown color and go close to black. This will be the only hair dye I ever use. I truly love it
I have had grey hair since i was 16..premature greying runs in my family..so over the years i have used a lot of different home hair dyes but seem to always come back to the Revlon Colorsilk..it gives great grey coverage..doesn't fade after multiple shampoos like others i have tried..doesn't leave your hair with that just dyed scent some others do..and best of all its quality hair color that doesn't cost a fortune which is great especially if your hair is long or thicker and you need 2 boxes
This is such a great at-home color! And the price! You can't beat the price for the quality of the product. I use shade #20 and it looks natural and not harsh. However, I do have to use 3 bottles of dye per hair color session because my hair is long and thick. Also, this dye is Ammonia free! The conditioner is only a packet and not a tube like other hair color brands, but it makes your hair extremely soft. Recommend!
Revlon is one of the best do it at home hair dyes! I tried going from brown to blonde with a different brand and that didn't work so instead I dyed my hair black to make it all one color again. This brand was so easy to use and got all my hair one color. I am highly impressed with this product and will continue to use it!!
Have to tell you near me in certain stairs I can find this as cheap as 2.99 a box which is great because I need two boxes I have long hair so I can do my whole head for about 7 dollars after tax an that's still cheaper them one box of many any other hajir color it definitely a does the job I will repurchase an I would recommend especially if you on a budget an have long hair an need more then one box
For me this is the best permanent drugstore hair dye I’ve come across. It’s easy to use and super inexpensive. I have medium length hair and only need one box. I purchased this for under five dollars from Walmart. This was the perfect color to match my natural hair color. I use this to make my hair color more vibrant and rich in color and give it a extra boost in Shine. Highly recommend this for anyone.
I usually liked to use Revlon products, but since I used this Colorsilk beautiful color in blue/ black. I really did not want to use it again. It's hurt my scalp even though I followed step by step how to apply it. Besides, it was not the first time I used it. I do not know what they changed in their formula but I do not like it. I guess I should change the dye brand.
My go to color in the fall and winter months. Beautiful color that doesn't leave my hair dry or my scalp irritated. Easy to apply and it's just under $3 a box. I've got long hair so I use 2 boxes to dye my hair. The after care hair conditioner isn't the greatest but I do use another brand along w what comes in the box. A hair mask is always ideal after dying your hair anyways. My color stays fresh and nice for a couple months. Except when my roots start to show, but my overall color is still amazing. Gives shine and color variation after I finish. I don't need to have anyone help me dye my hair it is that easy. Comes w a dye, activator oil and the bottle to mix it in and apply to your hair. Of course it also comes with directions and the gloves to make the magic all happen.
Ok this will be my second time using this kind of hair dye I'm excited to see how this color comes out it's a lil lighter than I usually get it but I figured hey why not have fun ain't life about having fun so far I give it 5 stars for a home dye kit last one I had used took perfectly and lasted longer than the other brand I tryed so anytime @influenster wants to send me hair dye I'm up for the challenge ty
This brand has been great throughout the years, but doesn’t always give your the hair color you’re hoping for. Thankfully I’ve never hated the color that it has turned out like. I understand for the price and for the overall box product it’s not going to provide you with the same experience as a salon. It does the job
