This was one of my clients fears as well before we used this iron. Honestly no. I personally saw this video as well. There is an easy heat control on this product so you choose which temperature you are comfortable with. Each strand of hair I curled in the picture took about 7 seconds each. In the video I believe she held it on there for too long . But I highly recommend this product!!
I want one so bad does it heat way too much?

You can adjust the temperature to it. I have very thin hair but I like using the highest temperature. Just make sure you're only holding the curl with the iron for 2-3 seconds as it is hot. It just makes it a lot faster when the curler is hotter I find! Doesn't damage hair either :)

Honestly my curls last along time i dont even have to use hair spray which i love because i hate hairspray it makes my hair crunchy!

YES! I by far recommend this product! Easy to use, inexpensive, and it works wonderful! It literally takes under 10 seconds to curl each piece of hair. It'll leave you with a look that looks as if you got it professionally done. I just recently used this on doing my friends moms hair for a wedding she was in! && it only took less then an hour to do. So easy like I said! So YES I RECOMMEND IT!
