In 1982, Dietrich Mateschitz became aware of products called tonic drinks, which enjoyed widespread popularity throughout Far East. His idea to market these functional drinks outside Asia evolved whilst he sat at a bar at the Mandarin Hotel in Hong Kong. In 1984, Mateschitz founded Red Bull. He fine-tuned the product, developed a unique marketing concept and started selling Red Bull Energy Drink on the Austrian market in 1987. This was not only the launch of a completely new product, in fact it was the birth of a totally new product category. In 2008, Red Bull launched its own Cola: Red Bull Simply Cola -Strong and Natural. Very much in line with the needs of today's consumers, Red Bull Cola - unlike traditional colas - only contains ingredients of 100% natural sources. In 2009, Red Bull extended its product portfolio with Red Bull Energy Shots: Starting in the USA, now gradually rolling out globally. Around 4 billion cans of Red Bull are consumed every year. The responsibility for the success of the world's No. 1 energy drink is shared by the company's 6,900 employees around the world. The Red Bull headquarters are based in Fuschl am See, not far from Salzburg, Austria.
I used to drink red bull but it started giving me stomach issues and making me sick. My husband swears it gives him the energy he needs to make it through very busy days but he drinks multiple red bulls each day. Its not to healthy for you and has loads of sugars. It does smell good and doesn't taste too bad either. Pretty pricey though especially if you drink it frequently.
I gave this product a D and not an F because I enjoy the taste. In my country two small cans of Red Bull will usually run you $6+ tax. Why would I pay for that when I can buy a whole tub of coffee for that price? I only consume Red Bull when I am in the USA as it is much cheaper. I don't feel like it's any better than coffee - part of me believes Red Bull is a placebo!
Not my favorite energy drink to be honest. I'm personally just not a fan of the taste, I much prefer Monster or Rockstar, so I only really drink these when I don't have any other choice. It does meet your expectations in terms of energy though, which is good.
Energy drinks actually don't do much for me and they are sooo sweet tasting... but that is just my personal preference..caffeine effects me oddly and doesn't have the "wakening" effect it should so it doesn't do the purpose it should with me, but then when my cousin drinks it she gets right wired! so it all depends on the person i suppose so i am just neutral!
this is also a drink to take. sometimes it causes laziness, fatigue, and the urge to sleep sometimes. others if it has the purpose and makes me active. but most of it does not work for me. I've taken it for a couple of occassions but it can not make me feel good
Love red bull, mom of 2 and work full time! It is fast acting and hits you right away, taste great and mixes well with vodka (not suppose too but hey why not) only down fall is when you come down from your energy buzz I do get sleepy but snap out of it eventually
Ilove this energy drink and i love the taste of it and it always helps me when I'm tired. The only thing that draws it down for me is the price compared to other energy drinks. Also the health fact now that I've heard of so many studis that shows that its actually bad for the heart when used together with working out. So please take care when drinking this.
This is obviously one of the most popular drinks out there, to me the taste is strange and I don't really buy this often, and I think it's a little over priced for the amount of fluid, but the cost is purely because of the popularity. The packaging is nice, the colours stand out and the logo is original, but I still wouldn't buy this energy drink over others.
So this drink tastes awful but when I needed to stay up and study all night for finals, it was my go to drink with a soda chaser of course. In terms of side effects, too much of this stuff can put strain even on the healthiest heart. Consume over four of these in a 24 hour period and when you finally crash you will be putting your heart into shock as well. I never drank this stuff regularly and I encourage people to be careful of how much caffeine they are putting in their system.
