In 1982, Dietrich Mateschitz became aware of products called tonic drinks, which enjoyed widespread popularity throughout Far East. His idea to market these functional drinks outside Asia evolved whilst he sat at a bar at the Mandarin Hotel in Hong Kong. In 1984, Mateschitz founded Red Bull. He fine-tuned the product, developed a unique marketing concept and started selling Red Bull Energy Drink on the Austrian market in 1987. This was not only the launch of a completely new product, in fact it was the birth of a totally new product category. In 2008, Red Bull launched its own Cola: Red Bull Simply Cola -Strong and Natural. Very much in line with the needs of today's consumers, Red Bull Cola - unlike traditional colas - only contains ingredients of 100% natural sources. In 2009, Red Bull extended its product portfolio with Red Bull Energy Shots: Starting in the USA, now gradually rolling out globally. Around 4 billion cans of Red Bull are consumed every year. The responsibility for the success of the world's No. 1 energy drink is shared by the company's 6,900 employees around the world. I used to drink so much of this in sixth form, and no longer drink it at all. I did find that it tasted the best out of all the energy drinks but it was also the most expensive. It’s so bad for you though, and I don’t think it’s advertised enough - especially considering who they’re aiming their market at.
I LOVE this drink! I'm a student and this keeps me going. It's a little more expensive than most energy drinks but still affordable. I like how simple the packaging is. This drink is amazing. It keeps me awake and I would recommend this product to students or parents or those who like an extra energy kick.
Red bull is okay, I mainly drink it on nights out with vodka but I would prefer monster or a more flavoured W energy drink any day! It’s also expensive for what it is really. I will buy again however
I turn to Red Bull's energy drink when I need a quick surge. It works well but the sugar isn't really great for me. That's why I have rated the product as 3 stars. The taste is pretty good although it does taste artificial. If you drink too many it does give me heart palpitations the next day!! Be careful
do I really need to write a review...... red bull is delicious... its a decent price when you can get it 2/$4. Definitely a repeat, repeat, repeat buyer. I find red bull not so sugary and thick as other energy drinks. when I can find them I would rather the grapefruit flavoured red bull than the original.
Red bull does give you wings. Have one of these most days to get me through my work day haha. Tastes great and really does give you some much needed energy! Don’t have too many as you’ll be bouncing off the walls 😂😂😂
I usually have this instead if an alcoholic beverage when I am out partying. It gives me a little extra energy to keep me up and has a crisp carbonated but pleasant taste.
This is the classic energy drink. I think the taste is great, although it has been mimicked by other brands for a better value. I try to shy away from this due to it being quite unhealthy. Although, there is nothing like a cold red bull when under the weather. I think this will forever be a good drink.
Redbull is a tonic that is attached to my childhood. Its taste is very good. When I drink, I feel very refreshed and healthy. In Vietnam, redbull is priced at 10,000 VND, this price is very suitable for its quality
When I'm lacking energy or need a pick up red bull is always the first energy drink I pick up. It tastes great, it really does give me a boost of energy and despite being a little on the pricey side I would never go for a cheap energy drink over a redbull. I don't drink them often but when I do it's always red bull!
