In 1982, Dietrich Mateschitz became aware of products called tonic drinks, which enjoyed widespread popularity throughout Far East. His idea to market these functional drinks outside Asia evolved whilst he sat at a bar at the Mandarin Hotel in Hong Kong. In 1984, Mateschitz founded Red Bull. He fine-tuned the product, developed a unique marketing concept and started selling Red Bull Energy Drink on the Austrian market in 1987. This was not only the launch of a completely new product, in fact it was the birth of a totally new product category. In 2008, Red Bull launched its own Cola: Red Bull Simply Cola -Strong and Natural. Very much in line with the needs of today's consumers, Red Bull Cola - unlike traditional colas - only contains ingredients of 100% natural sources. In 2009, Red Bull extended its product portfolio with Red Bull Energy Shots: Starting in the USA, now gradually rolling out globally. Around 4 billion cans of Red Bull are consumed every year. The responsibility for the success of the world's No. 1 energy drink is shared by the company's 6,900 employees around the world. I've tried Red Bull several times over the years. I just cannot get past the taste. For me, it is terrible. I do like the benefits of drinking Red Bull and the added energy is a bonus. I usually have to mix it with some sort of juice so I can drink it.
For an energy drink it proved to be very ineffective. It gave me no energy and isn't worth drinking just for taste. The only effect it had on me was that it made me need to urinate a lot.
Red bull really gives me that extra kick of energy when I need it. Plus it tastes pretty good too! I like that they started coming out with different flavors. The blue one is my favorite.
Ive tried to drink this but it does nothing! Unless this is mixed with an alcoholic beverage, its a waste of money. You will be WAITING for something but of course...nothing happens haha
Love RedBull. They help me stay awake when I need to pull all nighters for a paper or to study for a test! Even if I need a little wake me up in the morning its they perfect little thing.
Man, it does give you energy and as a student I have to stay up for finals and thats when I drink this. But after that, I just get super hyper and eventually become exhausted. It tastes good with alcohol on by itself but I try to keep myself away from it
I just can't get past the taste of these things! I like the blueberry and cranberry ones better than the original but I still think it tastes perfumey and it leaves a nasty after taste.
A Red Bull at lunch gives me much needed energy to productively complete my day. Sugar Free is very low in calories with similar taste as the original. Other energy drinks may be cheaper and/or larger, but nothing compares to the kick given by Red Bull.
I Drink one just about every day. Redbull has been around longer than the majority of energy drinks and the market and have received the least criticism from the FDA in regards to health impact. In addition, redbull has b12 and b6 among other vitamins.
I used to drink four a day until i got addicted and had to stop:( but while i was drinking them i got this amazing rush of energy that never let me down..it tasted awesome and i miss it
