In 1982, Dietrich Mateschitz became aware of products called tonic drinks, which enjoyed widespread popularity throughout Far East. His idea to market these functional drinks outside Asia evolved whilst he sat at a bar at the Mandarin Hotel in Hong Kong. In 1984, Mateschitz founded Red Bull. He fine-tuned the product, developed a unique marketing concept and started selling Red Bull Energy Drink on the Austrian market in 1987. This was not only the launch of a completely new product, in fact it was the birth of a totally new product category. In 2008, Red Bull launched its own Cola: Red Bull Simply Cola -Strong and Natural. Very much in line with the needs of today's consumers, Red Bull Cola - unlike traditional colas - only contains ingredients of 100% natural sources. In 2009, Red Bull extended its product portfolio with Red Bull Energy Shots: Starting in the USA, now gradually rolling out globally. Around 4 billion cans of Red Bull are consumed every year. The responsibility for the success of the world's No. 1 energy drink is shared by the company's 6,900 employees around the world. Oooh red bull, I could live off red bull. Although I would probably die very early. It is my go to drink when I have had very busy consecutive days but still need to get things done. It really does give you a boost of energy but it also has a wicked sugar crash.
Redbull is the only energy drink that doesn't make me jittery or sick to my stomach. I love the taste of redbull, even the sugar free. Great drink when you need some extra energy with no crash
I actually love Red bull. I've never tasted the sugar free product which is fine with me. But the original flavor is really good. It does give a boost. Lol tastes good with a little vodka too
Red bull red bull red bull! What can I say! Need a quick wake me up in the morning this is your best friend! Need it for long trip rides this is your best friend! But do not go over board!
Perfect combination of a pick me up! This product doesn't make me feel nauseous or jittery like other energy drinks. I do think it's a tad bit expensive but for the right occasion it's worth it. Plus you can mix it in other drinks to make your perfect cocktail!
Because of what I do, I work for anywhere from 5 to 18 hours every day (usually around 15), so I need energy to do all of that. Redbull is very bad for my body, but it keeps me able to work.
I really love this energy drink, but the original isn't the best tasting flavor. In my opinion, the blueberry is the most tasty flavor. It also helps you stay awake and makes you a bit hyper!
The first time i drank a red bull i went walking from the front of the house to the back in about 1 minute. I have never done that before. The taste is great and the engery it gives you is amazing.
My job consumes so much of my energy everyday. I'm on my feet 24/7. Mentally and physically drained by the end of the day. I get myself a can or red bull and i pick up where I left off. Gets me through the last few hrs at work when I need that boost. Great stuff.
Definitely not the healthiest choice. But it does give you a little boost when you need it. I've found fruits and vegetables give me the boost I need, and are a lot healthier for me as well.
