In 1982, Dietrich Mateschitz became aware of products called tonic drinks, which enjoyed widespread popularity throughout Far East. His idea to market these functional drinks outside Asia evolved whilst he sat at a bar at the Mandarin Hotel in Hong Kong. In 1984, Mateschitz founded Red Bull. He fine-tuned the product, developed a unique marketing concept and started selling Red Bull Energy Drink on the Austrian market in 1987. This was not only the launch of a completely new product, in fact it was the birth of a totally new product category. In 2008, Red Bull launched its own Cola: Red Bull Simply Cola -Strong and Natural. Very much in line with the needs of today's consumers, Red Bull Cola - unlike traditional colas - only contains ingredients of 100% natural sources. In 2009, Red Bull extended its product portfolio with Red Bull Energy Shots: Starting in the USA, now gradually rolling out globally. Around 4 billion cans of Red Bull are consumed every year. The responsibility for the success of the world's No. 1 energy drink is shared by the company's 6,900 employees around the world. The only energy drink I can have without crashing or my stomach getting upset. I don't get as jittery as with other energy drinks as well. Just subtle energy boost.
What can you possibly dislike about jitter free boost of energy that tastes great and lasts for hours. Its cold, hasfresh taste and an zip that keeps me focused and working hard. My work loses a dime every time I buy one at work but they say the efficiency of the work is worth it!
I’m not really an avid Red Bull drinker, I would rather drink a 5 hour energy than an energy drink. They’re all honestly so bad for you and have really horrible side effects such as heart palpitations and nervousness. Plus they taste kinda nasty but I know people who swear by them
I used to get a flavored red bull from our local coffee shop every morning ( YUM!) I quit because my kidneys weren't appreciating it, but they're a great pick me up
Red Bull is the classic original energy drink. There is something about the original flavor that is nostalgic haha. Maybe it brings me back to college and late night studying! Red Bull has always been my favorite go to energy drink at bars and clubs as well as a coffee replacement.
Although i do enjoy this energy drink and it really does give me energy and has a good flavor- after drinking it for quite a few years i started having heart palpitations and was recommended by a doctor to stop drinking this. In moderation I’m sure it’s ok but i stay away from it now
Red blue does give you energy but it not the drink it's all that sugar going into your body. I did drink these for a year until I came to understand that it wasn't doing anything good for my body and it was breaking me out terribly because of all that sugar. So I stop drinking this 7 years ago.
I don't notice the "energy" effect, I just really enjoy the flavor, I don't know if this is good for me or not but it's so good. I don't have it often though.
Love this drink! It tastes amazing and give me energy to get through the day. One of my favorite drinks. But it does give me the jitters but compares to other energy drinks! I will buy more of these!
Red Bull is my go to energy drink. I love the sleekness of the cans. I’ve bought many, MANY Red Bull’s in my life. My husband says it’s pricey, but I say it is worth it. I always drink one when I have an early morning, which is often since I’m a mom. 10 out of 10 would recommend!
