In 1982, Dietrich Mateschitz became aware of products called tonic drinks, which enjoyed widespread popularity throughout Far East. His idea to market these functional drinks outside Asia evolved whilst he sat at a bar at the Mandarin Hotel in Hong Kong. In 1984, Mateschitz founded Red Bull. He fine-tuned the product, developed a unique marketing concept and started selling Red Bull Energy Drink on the Austrian market in 1987. This was not only the launch of a completely new product, in fact it was the birth of a totally new product category. In 2008, Red Bull launched its own Cola: Red Bull Simply Cola -Strong and Natural. Very much in line with the needs of today's consumers, Red Bull Cola - unlike traditional colas - only contains ingredients of 100% natural sources. In 2009, Red Bull extended its product portfolio with Red Bull Energy Shots: Starting in the USA, now gradually rolling out globally. Around 4 billion cans of Red Bull are consumed every year. The responsibility for the success of the world's No. 1 energy drink is shared by the company's 6,900 employees around the world. The Red Bull headquarters are based in Fuschl am See, not far from Salzburg, Austria. Features include: -Pack of twenty four, 8.4-ounces per unit (total of 201.6 ounces)-Functional beverage with a unique combination of ingredients-Specially developed for times of increased mental and physical exertion-Vitalizes body and mind-Increases performance, concentration, reaction speed and improves vigilance

While I find myself reaching for a Redbull every now and again I will not allow myself to have more than one every few days or so. The high content of energy and sugar puts a ton of stress on your heart and body. So while it tastes good, it's not actually doing you any good. Drink in moderation!

Redbull was always one of my least favorite energy drinks. I rarely drink it unless there's nothing else caffeinated around me. However, it is probably one of the best mixers I've ever used when drinking vodka.

I love RedBull it tastes amazing. I like it better than any other energy drink and it really boosts my mood. I get very cheeery and energetic when I drink RedBulls. Real quality stuff, and it's worth paying for.

I love red bull! It keeps my energy level at a good pace and it does not make me jittery like other energy drinks! Did I mention "RED BULL GIVES YOU WINGS". Lol

I love Red Bulls, they taste great and give you a nice amount of energy for about an hour or so. My only problem with them is that I crash really hard after the energy wears off and they're really not good for you.

Am I alone in hating red bull. It makes me really anxious and tastes like melted licorice. I have never understood the appeal. i have heard their lime/blueberry/raspberry flavors are an improvement..but still.

I have been drinking red bull for years but now that I am supervisor at my job it is my go to energy drink. I really love the flavored versions but not a product to drink while sick because loses its taste.

I drank this once as I am not really into energy drinks, don't fancy them, but it does energize you, some of my friends experienced after drinking and staying up the entire night they experience jitters and crash the other day, so it works but different people experiences are different..

Redbull is my favorite energy drink. It's a little pricey in the energy drink world, but you get what you pay for. I love the crisp taste and the light carbonation. I always look forward to grabbing a can and cracking it open, that first smell of freshness always makes my mouth water.
