In 1982, Dietrich Mateschitz became aware of products called tonic drinks, which enjoyed widespread popularity throughout Far East. His idea to market these functional drinks outside Asia evolved whilst he sat at a bar at the Mandarin Hotel in Hong Kong. In 1984, Mateschitz founded Red Bull. He fine-tuned the product, developed a unique marketing concept and started selling Red Bull Energy Drink on the Austrian market in 1987. This was not only the launch of a completely new product, in fact it was the birth of a totally new product category. In 2008, Red Bull launched its own Cola: Red Bull Simply Cola -Strong and Natural. Very much in line with the needs of today's consumers, Red Bull Cola - unlike traditional colas - only contains ingredients of 100% natural sources. In 2009, Red Bull extended its product portfolio with Red Bull Energy Shots: Starting in the USA, now gradually rolling out globally. Around 4 billion cans of Red Bull are consumed every year. The responsibility for the success of the world's No. 1 energy drink is shared by the company's 6,900 employees around the world. The Red Bull headquarters are based in Fuschl am See, not far from Salzburg, Austria. Features include: -Pack of twenty four, 8.4-ounces per unit (total of 201.6 ounces)-Functional beverage with a unique combination of ingredients-Specially developed for times of increased mental and physical exertion-Vitalizes body and mind-Increases performance, concentration, reaction speed and improves vigilance

I usually only drink them when I'm pulling all nighters (which seemed to be a lot last semester). They're too sugary for me, even the sugar free ones. They made me super jittery and then incredibly tired in a short period of time.

It’s Red Bull what more do I have to say!? This was the first energy drink I ever had way back when! The taste is out of this world! If I feel like splurging I will go and pick up some these babies to power me through!

Redbull has a pleasant taste to it. The times I have drank it, I do not feel any more energized than before drinking it. A cousin of mine drinks it to "cure cramps" but I honestly don't find that it helps me for that at all.

This is my favorite energy drinks out of all. I enjoy the taste of Redbull the best. I feel like this energy drink won't give you weird feeling after drinking, as well. (Also, I love to drink this with vodka at parties!)

I used to drink a couple of the Absolute Zero Redbull in the gray can every day. I think this kind tastes better than the sugar free version. I tend to feel energized right after drinking it then feel very tired later. Redbull is fairly expensive for a beverage but good for when I need to stay up late.

I really like RedBull. I prefer to drink the sugar free ones with less calories. I know energy drinks are terrible for you, but I'm a bit of a caffeine addict. RedBull is the energy drink I go to if I really need a boost.

Probably my favorite energy drink. Sometimes I like to get the different flavors but overall this original is my favorite. The packaging is nice and sleek. I always have it ice cold and it deliveres on the energy every time.
