Real Techniques Ultimate Base Set
- "Love the brushes and sponge! Work so great, awesome dupe for a beauty blender, I love the flat end, it’s great for baking your contour. They were very easy to use and affordable most importantly. I would for sure buy the brushes and sponges again!" in 87 reviews
These products are very good alternatives to similar more pricey products, the sponge is very nice and soft on my skin and applied makeup very well, it is also very easy to clean and as are the brushes, also the bristles are very soft on the brushes.
I solely bought this for the sponge since I needed a replacement and saw this bundle and decided to try it out. I usually hate brushes For foundation but this brush is HG status I only have been using the brush and not the sponge . Concealer brush is good too.
Love real technique brushes and sponges!! I literally don’t use anything else. The bristles don’t fall out and the sponge is my favourite I have ever tried. I’ve tried many sponges but real techniques is the softest one I have tried and I love it!
I think this is a great base set for beginners as you have the brush which you can use for multiple products such as applying foundation or contour and the beauty sponge which is great for applying cream products and getting a lovely even base!
One of my very first brush purchases, bought it after reading so many recommendations, and I am so happy that I bought this. Brushes are sturdy, helped me with the basic application when I wasn’t yet aware of different makeup techniques. No issue of falling hair, has the softest hair on them, and works like a dream. Sponge was something I used primarily for concealer blending. Price is mid range, which may not be appealing to new makeup lovers, but the quality is worth every penny spent.

I really like the foundation and concealer brushes, they are really sturdy and they work really well. The foundation brush is my fave although I have found a new fave in recent weeks. The only thing is make sure they are regularly cleaned or they can make your foundation a bit streaky
An extremely excellent beauty sponge, the best drugstore one I have used. Applies great and foundation does not get clogged in it. The base brush is good for bronzer but not good for foundation as it does not blend as good as other foundation brushes. And is way too harsh on the skin.
I own all these products but not necessarily from this set. I use the sponge everyday and love it, have repurchased many times. The brushes are also great, though I don’t reach for them all the time as I love the sponge. Would 100% recommend
I use this brush for setting my under eye with powder. It’s very easy to apply, doesn’t leave patchiness or harsh, heavy powdered look. This brush really compresses the powder down onto the skin. I use it everyday and I would 110% recommend.
Amazing for prepping your face with foundation and primer. Beauty sponge only works to it’s full potential once wetting it however. Brushes are strong and sturdy but once they are dirty can be difficult to clean. A bit pricey for the the quality in comparison to its competitors. Outer packaging is okay and is fit for purpose but would not be kept.
