Real Techniques Ultimate Base Set
- "Love the brushes and sponge! Work so great, awesome dupe for a beauty blender, I love the flat end, it’s great for baking your contour. They were very easy to use and affordable most importantly. I would for sure buy the brushes and sponges again!" in 87 reviews
Hands down the best brush (the large brush) for foundation ever. Not sure if it's even supposed to be used for creams or liquids but it applies my foundation SO airbrushed and smooth. I always used just their beauty blender and now I am hooked on the brush. I use the flat side of the beauty blender to apply powder and bake!
I love the real techniques blender, so affordable, and soooo much alike the beauty blender brand that’s quite expensive !! You can find these at virtually any drug store & the foundation brush that comes along with it is PERFECT for bugging/blending foundation or concealer in for a natural airbrushed look (((:
This is my absolute favorite set! This is the first set from Real Techniques I had purchased and since I have bought several more! The sponge creates a flawless finish and is super easily cleaned. I would recommend this set as a starter to any beginner who is looking to branch out with makeup and new tools.
Brushes are so good and soft and affordable yet even though I do like the sponge when I damp it I believe it gets way too soft that it makes it hard to blend and I have to press down on my face for it to blend does work well dry but not for dry skin since I feel like it flakes the skin and makes it look patchy
I like using the stipple brush to get a fuller coverage! I just do circular motions to apply it to prevent less streams. I usually use the sponge more for foundation or to blend out the rest. The sponge is the best thing ever! It gives me such a beautiful airbrush finish! It’s also a lot cheaper than the actual beauty blender.

This is my favorite brush set!!! The sponge is super soft and easy to blend with. The big powder brush is the perfect size for setting powders, blushes, and even a little contouring if necessary. And I love the little guy for highlighting. I super recommend this set as it’s affordable and incredible quality.
This is an awesome cellent kit from real technique. The value for the price is absolutely great. The sponge in the kit is a very good alternative for the beauty blender. The beushes are great to use too. I would definitely recommend picking this kit up to anyone looking for a good foundation makeup tools
I can’t say enough good things about real techniques brushes/sponge. The foundation brush is dense and perfect for helping achieve a full coverage flawless face. The concealer brush is also great with blending out product. The real techniques sponge is hands down my favorite sponge to apply makeup with, the large flat edge is perfect for a smooth application.
Great quality brushes that apply foundation and concealer flawlessly. Blends amazingly well. Durable, washes well. Price is very reasonable. Meets expectations. Perfect for professional use and beginners too! One of my favorite tools to apply makeup with. Real Techniques Expert Face Brush
I absolutely love my real techniques brushes. I have the base set and there is little to no fall out of the brushes. They are very well made, and they are affordable. I would purchase these items again when I need to replace my old ones, but have had them for 3 years and are very durable and easy to clean.
