Real Techniques Ultimate Base Set
- "Love the brushes and sponge! Work so great, awesome dupe for a beauty blender, I love the flat end, it’s great for baking your contour. They were very easy to use and affordable most importantly. I would for sure buy the brushes and sponges again!" in 87 reviews
The sponge has been a long time favorite of time, and so buying this set, it was only a replacement. But the expert concealer brush is my newfound favorite! It smooths the product around so seamlessly without streaks or soaking up the product. The expert face brush is the only reason this review isn't 5 stars. For some reason I have not been able to get it to buff my foundation around without it leaving streaks.
These are some of the best brushes you can buy at the drugstore. They’re sold almost everywhere that they sell drugstore makeup. They are very affordable and do an excellent job of blending out your products. If you’re on a budget but need new brushes, I highly recommend you try real techniques. They’re beauty sponge is one of my favorites. I sometimes even use it over the beauty blender. It’s amazing.
Real techniques is a great brush brand to start with if you’re just getting into makeup, or even if you rarely wear makeup at all. Their brushes are quality and they offer all different shapes and sizes. However, I wouldn’t recommend this brand for really heavy duty makeup users. Simply because they won’t last as long as some of the better brands. They’re still a really reasonable price for a great product.
I recommend this brush! Bristles are soft and doesn’t scratch my face. It’s a cheaper alternative than any other brands! I would recommend this if your on a budget! I really liked these brushes and continue to use them but only thing I don’t like about the set is that the sponge is terrible!! It gets moldy inside, but if you wanna try an alternative than a beauty blender I would try it out but don’t keep it for more than 2 months especially if you wash it frequently

I got the real techniques set by Sam and Nic which includes a buffing brush, pointed foundation brush, detailer brush, and contour brush. I don't use the brushes for what they claim to be used for but they're amazing. They have kept being soft even with the many times that I have washed these brushes. The bristles also don't fall out! Real Techniques Flawless Base Set
Real Techniques brushes are some of my favorite tools to use for my makeup looks because they work so well & don’t break the bank! This particular set is perfect for apply your base (foundation, powder, cc/bb creams, concealer etc.). I love the miracle sponge the most because its soft, yet firm, and blends out liquid products beautifully. The sponge is definitely comparable to the beauty blender.
The sponge in this set comes so close to the beauty blender that it’s insane. If you are on a budget and want a good quality sponge this is a much have. The brushes are super durable and sooo soft. I keep there right on top of my vanity.
The best set for base makeup ever! I started using brushes for concealer because of this set the sponge is one of the best sponges I’ve ever used. High quality at an affordable price. I’ve washed them and have had them for a good amount of time and they still have not shed and the quality of the bristles have not changed. Ive replaced the sponge a few times but thats because i use it to death
Okay all I can say is wow. A set that literally comes with all that you need in an everyday makeup look. The sponge is really squishy and a perfect size and perfect to blend out foundation and cream products. The eyeshadow brush is great for blending out all types of eye looks, and the last brush is also great for blending out cream products. All very easy to maintain and keep clean. Love
