Although it feels the exact same was as the original Complexion Sponge, a pro AND con is the shape. The tile is good for applying concealer and baking under the eyes for getting in on the crease. The con is the flat top, you can use it for foundation but I’ve noticed it makes it hard to evenly apply foundation... it kinda of paints/glides it on even if I’m blending(tapping motion) correctly.Real Techniques Brush Crush Diamond Sponge

The product itself is so pretty, but I had a few issues with the practicality of it. Unlike other sponges that are curved and have round edges, this one is nothing but points! Makes it a little hard to really utilize the entire thing. It looks pretty on my counter, but I find myself reaching for the traditionally shaped beauty blenders and sponges.

I have reviewed this other shade of this same sponge but everything I had said in the last review was exactly how I feel about this sponge. Skeptical shape but oh so necessary. You have no idea how genius the diamond shape is until you use one yourself and you realize you use every edge and corner to apply your makeup. Amazing amazing sponge!!

This is my favorite sponge so far. I thought the diamond shape will be a little gimmicky but it works SO WELL. The pointy side reaches under your eye and in smaller areas. The flat side blends my foundation beautifully. It is really soft and doesn't leave any streaks in my foundation. I even use the pointy side to set my under eye

the sponge is super cute and it was on sale so that’s why i bought it , it was able to put on my foundation pretty well but the tip of the sponge wasn’t as useful as i thought it would be , if you’re not going to use it lol get it but if you plan of using this sponge , i really wouldn’t recommend it

First of all, the sponge is very stiff. It’s not that soft even if you soaked it on the water. However, it gets really big. The bottom part of the diamond shape is a waste of space to use because the foundation or concealer doesn’t soak really well. It’s quite annoying since it’s too pointy to use.

This is hands down my favorite makeup sponge. The diamond sponges are perfect for what I use sponges for the the different sides fit various products and skin areas. I prefer brushes but if I'm going to use a sponge I reach for this. I have bought several of these since they came out.

By far my favorite sponge, the softest and I can even use it dry. I do love the original RT sponge but the sharp tip on this one is perfect for getting concealer all the way in the inner corner of my under eye. There is also no color bleeding when washing which I've seen from other brands.

I find this one just as good as the beauty blender. Except cost effective. It’s super soft, gets right in the corner of your eye, doesn’t soak up product and blends out wonderfully. I highly recommend this one if you don’t want to spend the money on an original blender

It’s pretty, but it doesn’t perform as effectively as the original, orange sponge. It’s hard to apply your foundation evenly with so many small angles.

The complexion sponge 100%. It’s softer than the diamond one, I have both and I don’t use the diamond one. If you like a really snatched contour the diamond is good because of the sharp tip.. otherwise the complexion sponge wins😉
