Rare Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise
Really enjoyed this game even tho at times it felt repetitive. It's surprisingly challenging to get some of the piñatas. Would purchase a new version if they came out with it. Great for all ages!
The Viva Piñata series is one of my favorite video game franchises, without any irony whatsoever. If you love all things adorable and have a tendency toward completionism, VP is a delightful and addictive experience. It may be bright and childish-looking, but it actually requires a lot of resourcefulness if you want to complete it without the help of the Internet. The sequel adds a lot in terms of animals and environments, but I do take issue with some of the achievements requiring Xbox Live.
I loved the farming aspect of the game. It gave me peace to garden and bring animals in. I hated that I had to purchase Xbox live just to play.
This game can be either really casual or super challenging. Unlocking all of the pinata is actually really tough! But the overall game play is really cute. Very colorful! You can truly lose hours and hours getting sucked into it. It's a great game for all ages.
