The Rare Beauty Always an Optimist Soft Radiance Setting Powder has a very fine, silky texture that feels lightweight and blends nicely into the skin, giving a soft natural finish. The intensity is subtle, so it doesn't overly mattify or blur dramatically, and while the longevity is decent, it doesn't always control shine all day. The projection (finish) is more on the radiant side than matte, which may not suit everyone, but it's versatile for everyday looks. Overall, it's good, just not super impressive.

This setting powder keeps me from looking shiny and leaves my skin with a natural finish. I also love that it doesn’t feel heavy or make my face feel dry. But my favorite part about this setting powder is the design of this product. Underneath the lid, there’s a slide that keeps the product from coming out and getting everywhere. It also makes it easy to pour out the product. This powder even has a pleasant, not overpowering sweet smell. However, i will say that I got the color light-medium and it was a little tan on my face but it is easy to blend out. I think next time, I’ll try the shade “Light” instead but overall, I truly like this product and will continue to use.

It’s an affordable high end blurring radiant powder. i have oily skin and this powder is the only thing that keeps my makeup looking skin-like. I love how it comes out too. I recommend this powder to everyone!!
