I think most anyone could assemble it without too much trouble, even if you're not super handy like me. Now, how does it ride? For a beginner, that 10-inch front wheel is a good size. It handled the slightly bumpy sidewalks around here without tipping too easily, and it wasn’t so big that her little legs couldn’t reach the pedals. The pedals are a good size and have some grip, which helped keep her feet in place. The handlebars are nice and wide, making it easy for her to hold on. She could turn smoothly, which is key when they’re first learning to steer. And that little bell? It’s not just for looks! My granddaughter loved ringing it. What I like about this tricycle is how sturdy it feels. It’s made of metal, not cheap plastic, so it can handle some rough play. And trust me, knowing my granddaughter, it will. The tires are a solid rubbery material, so no need to worry about flats.
