Good masa! perfect for tortillas. The flour is good quality. The flavor is also great. The flour is easy to make and easy to work with. This flour is great to have on hand!

I like to have this product on hand in case I want tortillas and don't have any. They're great if you don't mind a lot of work and have a tortilla press, or at least a good system with a hand roller. These are easy to turn into gorditas soon after if you don't get them flat enough. I don't mind that but they harden quickly, making them hard to make tacos with. I don't think they're necessarily worth the work but I'd like to try to make tamales with them. Maybe my mind will change then. I wish I could figure out the secret to making tortillas better with this but I think the secret ingredient is practice. For now, I use this mix as an easy coating for chicken wings or fish when I want a quick breading but want to save my flour/corn meal; just add seasoning. There is a scent of the corn tortilla when frying but if no one knows, it makes for a crispy, tasty coating. For this recipe, I soak the chicken in a mixture of pickle juice and milk. I dry and coat the party wings in this tortilla mix with my favorite seasonings, and then fry the chicken in a skillet of warmer oil on medium heat for about 2 minutes on each side before tossing it in an air fryer to finish crisping. That last step is necessary before air crisping for a crispy coating. Then I air crisp for about 8-12 minutes before tossing in hot sauce.
