My older dog has been eating Pure Vita brand for years and loves it. It fills her up and keeps her healthy. My younger dog absolutely loves this salmon flavor, but as my Doxie has gotten older (7 yo) this flavor tends to be too rich for her stomach. My 4-year-old Shepard mix does still eat this flavor though and does just fine on it.

I just got a puppy and they were feeding him awful purina however you spell it. We switched him over to pure vita and he's been more energetic and happy all around. Not to mention his fur has gotten softer! He loves the chicken and brown rice the best but the other flavors are just as good! We started him on this one and he liked it too. Was an easy transition. I highly recommend this brand. Especially swing how the have only had one recall ever and it was one they did themselves for putting too much vitamin d in the canned food. That to me is good enough.
