Pure ice used to be about the only brand I would ever use...in third grade. They’re pretty cheap but very sheer for the ones I’ve used and just not the best formula. For about the same price, there are many other better brands.

This is an okay nail polish for the price. The polish is sheer so at least 3 coats are needed. A lot of the colors they have are pretty and their metallics are nice. They chip at the same rate as other average nail polishes. One note though: I'm not sure if it's my technique but this polish is a challenge to remove. It took me nearly 20 minutes to get it all of my nails. So make sure you have a strong nail polish remover!

These polishes are at a very cheap price at Walmart. I personally think that it depends on the color for the type of watery consistency it will have. I’ve bought a few & I’ve noticed that the light colors are really watery and the darker ones are more thicker (not too thick) marks tend to appear on the polish even if fully dry (bed marks) which is a con to it aswell. The darker ones not so much.

Review for: 920 Taupe Drawer more...
For this polish being a cheaper brand, I️ think it’s great! I’ve tried many others and this one seems to have lasted the longest. I️ don’t feel like it chipped as fast, or left me with that sticky feeling before applying a top coat. This is a brand that I️ normally go for when I’m looking for polish at Walmart. I️ definitely recommend.

This is my current favorite nail polish color. It is sort of a muted berry shade that is wearable for fall. It takes a few coats to get the polish completely opaque and the application is lightly streaky. I am so in love with this color though!

I bought this polish because I was looking for a silver glitter to fill in the base of a set of gel nails that were growing out! I loved it so much I ended up painting my toes with it too! It goes on thick and after 2 or 3 coats, you will have completely silver nails that last a longgg time!

If you’re not a huge fan of anything major on your nails I would definitely suggest this color not only because it is sheer, but it is buildable and classic and very pretty for a basic nail look. I would definitely suggest it for a topcoat on a French manicure.

This is my absolute favorite nail polish! I wear it all the time! The shades are very pigmented so you don’t need to put on several coats. I highly recommend it.

Pretty shades yes, but the brush is defaintly smaller then the usual polish brush. Great price point but I probably won't buy anymore. I had to do multiple layers which is fine, but it just wouldn't dry. I did everything I could, and even followed hacks. But it's a dud for me.

Review for: Spit Fire, 919 Rumors, 920 Taupe Drawer, Other more...
I purchased the shade Taupe Drawer on a whim because it's a beautiful pinky-beige neutral. It has now become my go-to neutral shade. I paint my nails by applying a clear basecoat, then a layer or two of this polish, and then a topcoat. If I'm doing accents with other polish, then I generally only use one coat of Taupe Drawer as it covers my nails pretty well. If I'm doing my toenails with this shade and I'm in a hurry, I sometimes don't even apply a topcoat because of how shiny it is. It has great lasting power as well.

Spit Fire is a shade that I bought and love. I use on top of Taupe Drawer and other shades in my collection as an accent. Gorgeous!

I recently purchased Rumors and used it only once but I liked it when I used it. It's a dusty rose, classic shade (in my opinion) and looks very feminine.

I am mainly leaving this review because of the negative reviews I've seen on Twisted. This was my very first Pure Ice shade and I am still in love with it! It is a gorgeous glittery turquoise shade. On application, the glitter is more of a sheen than glittery specks. Adding a topcoat just intensifies the sparkliness. I receive compliments on this shade every time I wear it and, like the other shades, it takes only 1-2 coats to completely cover my nails when applied over a basecoat. Since I purchased it a while ago, I don't know if the formula changed (which I'm hoping it didn't).

All of the Pure Ice shades that I have experience with dry quickly, aren't goopy, have average to above average staying power, and are opaque within 1-2 coats. I would recommend this line to anyone, especially those who are into bright, fun colors but don't want to spend a fortune. These honestly compare to OPI and other more expensive brands in my opinion. Will be repurchasing more shades.
