I would say Use only genuine PUR Filters, which are independently certified and tested. Be cautious of generic and private filters. They are not tested or certified to filter the same as PUR filters. PUR filters are the only filters certified to reduce contaminants when used with PUR systems (1). Be sure it’s PUR.
