Easy to set up. Very fun board game to play with friends! We got this days ago and had a great night playing Spirit Island. Teamwork and strategy are really important in this game. I like the concept of this game a lot. Imagine you are the spirit of those lands and try your hardest to keep modern life invade your territory. The parts are not missing and made well. Just perfect!

I play a lot of board games and have almost never had such a difficult time learning the rules. I finally bought the game on steam and have worked through the tutorial a few times. Honestly, it's a fun game with a unique concept and cute pieces, but I would not recommend it for someone only casually interested in games. Be prepared to dedicate multiple sessions to figuring out the rules, much less the strategy.

This has quickly become my game group's favorite game! It's one of the best if not the best co-op games I've ever played. I love how it's asymmetrical and the theming is on point! All the pieces are durable and good quality, and the cards have a good weight as well. Even with just the base game, there are so many different combos of spirits you can play that along with other things you can decide to play with or not (scenarios and adversaries) every feels new. The replayability of this game is insane. It plays great as a solo game as well.
