As a college student, I sometimes just need a quick meal that takes limited kitchen space, and Progresso Soups are a go-to staple in my pantry. I particularly like the Progresso Reduced Sodium Savory Chicken and Wild Rice Soup - it's light but still hearty, with a generous amount of filling wild rice, a decent quantity of white meat chicken that isn't gristly or tough, and a variety of tender vegetables such as carrots and tomatoes. The broth doesn't taste like it's reduced sodium - it's flavorful and savory, with garlic powder and parsley as standout flavors among some other herbs. At only 180 calories a can, and 920mg of sodium (40% of your daily recommended sodium intake), this makes a light meal or snack, and you can certainly jazz it up and make it a more filling meal by adding a protein, additional vegetables, etc. Canned soups have gotten more expensive in recent years, so I'll snag a can or two if I find it on sale at my local grocery store (sometimes it'll go down to $1.99/can from $3.29). Overall, this is one of my favorite canned soups out there, and I'll continue to buy it when it goes on sale!

These soups work in an absolute pinch but they’re still too high in sodium for my own taste. I tend to cook with minimum sodium due to a certain family members health issue. However I can see this soup working for me if I ever had a good emergency outside of home.

This soup is so good with low sodium and very tasty. Very affordable not pricey. All of the low sodium soups doesn't rise your blood pressure. I like the chicken noodle the best out of all!
