Prada L’Homme Intense holds a special place in my heart as one of my first designer fragrances that took my collection to a whole new level. It opens with a smooth and powdery iris with hints of leather but it’s not an overpowering leather. In the dry down the sweetness from the tonka beans and creaminess of the sandalwood come together to create an incredibly sexy, masculine, dark, and luxurious scent profile. Projection and longevity is fantastic, I get 8 hours on skin and smell it for days on my hoodie. This is an underrated winter and fall gem that deserves a lot more love.

Tried a sample of Prada L’Homme Intense and while I can see why people enjoy it, it leaned a little too feminine on my skin for my taste. The iris is very prominent and powdery. It’s smooth and well made, just not something I’d personally wear often. Honestly the only iris-heavy fragrance I’ve truly loved is the original Dior Homme Parfum, that one just hits differently for me.

This was one of the first fragrances that showed me there was something different apart from Ambroxan and citrus openings. A game changer for leathery fragrances and one of the best interpretation of the iris note
