Admittedly it's a personal choice but these are my favorite energy go to. I bike about 120 miles a week with Saturday being my 60-70 miler and these help me get through the last 2-3 hours. I love the taste. I can eat them just as a snack. If you are pushing it or breathing heavily afterwards it can be somewhat disconcerting trying to chew them while riding. The amount of gel inside seems to vary greatly from piece to piece. And while the gel does allow you to eat them without dry mouth you still need something to finish washing them down.
