I was a bit hesitant to use these because i thought, as plastic, they'd be harder to write on. But a ball-poit pen writes on them just fine, and they don't fall off as easily as paper post-it flags do. The bit that ends up sticking out also doesn't get crumpled easily. I use them to price trading cards that i have in sleeves.

These are great for bookmarking long documents, indicating specific points of interest, and/or for tab indexing that highlights content and more. I like the color coding capability of the items that can coordinate with the post-it sticky notes for further idea notating. The fact that they are easy to reposition makes them useful for dynamic organization with documents that are collaborative. And they help to indicate those essential lines in large documents that require further attention and more

These flags are great for filling out paperwork. You can use these to mark each page that needs attention or a signature on. They are also good for marking pages that you would like to go back to in the future and look at.
