I got mine at Wal-Mart for just under 6 dollars full price so with the quoted price here for Kmart you may want to check your local Wal-Mart if you want to save a few dollars. This a great starter kit or cheap kit for play or a present.
This is one of the items we bought for our family play fun time with our two year old son. We all had a lot of fun playing play doh and pretendimg to picnic. Plus with a two year old you know they are always coming up with silly things to do with things that weren't intended for what they emd up doing with it. Their imaginations are so big and play doh and their molds make it super easy for kids to just totally experiment and use their senses and just have fun and not have to worry about making a huge mess and cleaning it up later.
That's actually one or the best selling points about this entire kit. Its really easy to clean up and not lose pieces since you have a small bucket that everything fits in easily. And the bucket is small enough its easy enough to find a place to store it so everything always stays together.
It does come with smaller playdohs. About half size of the regular 50 cent packages but not as small as the tiny quarter size packages. Its about enough doh to make one of every thing with just a little left over. If you buy one more regular size doh you will have enough to make 2 of every thing and so on. Its super cheap to add to as play doh has always been inexpensive.
This is a great play and learning tools. It teaches colors, textures, how to make shapes, what shapes are, etc with your help and guidance of course. The play doh will dry out eventually but its cheap to replace and for the price of a whole set and the hours of quality time and family fun and play time your child gets out of it It's more than worth it so of course I totally recommend.
