The first time I opened this kit, I was equal parts, excited and terrified. I’ve had chemical peels done professionally before so I knew the results were worth it but doing it. Yourself at home is a whole different mental game. For my first full face peel I was extremely conservative with how long I left the product on. I left it on under the 3-5 minutes time recommend it. Fear of over processing my skin had me second-guessing. But I’m now two full face peels and two back peels deep and I genuinely feel like a professional doing this. With the help of my partner, we’ve been tackling my post, acne scarring on my back as well and I’ve already started to see real improvements on my back. The results of my face have been exactly what I expected having had this done in a clinical setting before. A tip that I would suggest is to stock up on sterile cotton. The kid does come with some included, which is great but you’re going to have so much product that you’ll be using this for quite some time. You cannot beat the deal of going into a spa versus what you’re going to pay for this at home chemical peel. This will now be a staple in my winter routine to avoid the harsh sun in the summer.
