My first impressions of Pixi eyeshadows are unfortunately not very good I love the colors and the Shimmer but they just are not easy to blend and there's a lot of fall out with them. Each shadow is very sparkly or glittery on the skin not a nice even sheen. If you have mature skin like me in my opinion it is not a flattering look. I would however recommend this brand if you're just starting out in makeup and you want to practice eyeshadow looks, these formulas are so sheer and underpigmented that you really can't make any harsh lines etc. I swatched two colors in my demo to show the performance of these eye shadows. Once with fingers and once with a brush. I really had to dig into the eyeshadow to get that kind of pigment. Using the brush it was just very messy. I wasn't able to pick up any color without a lot of Fallout (messy!).

I got this one through Birchbox when I was subscribed. It is a great product, but the eyeshadow melts off of my eyelids for some reason. That is even with and without eyeshadow primers. So I dunno. I like the colors, and it swatches pretty. Just kind of on the fence about it personally for me.

The colors in the palette are beautiful and well pigmented. I did notice some fallout with these shadows. My main issue with this palette, is that the colors were not long lasting. I always layer my shadow over concealer and eyeshadow primer and still found that within a few hours, most of the color was gone and caked up in my crease. I have found that wetting my brush with my Mac Fix+ does extend the longevity of the shadows. I wouldn't purchase these again.

I've heard a lot of things about Pixi and decided to give this palette a try. The colors blend very easily, and the dark shades are well pigmented. The lightest shade however, takes 2-3 applications to show up on my fair skin. The sponge brush isn't the greatest either, so I used my own brushes. There's minimal fallout with this palette and the colors are very smooth and creamy. If the lighter shades were more pigmented this palette would be perfect.

Pixi is a great ‘drugstore’ brand. I believe their products are quality at a decent price. I got the copper peach colors of this eyeshadow palette; the shadows are beautiful nude colors that are buildable when it comes to pigmentation. This palette is good for someone who prefers wearing light makeup and for someone who travels a lot or on the go, since this product is on the smaller side.

This pallet is the perfect size for on the go. It fits nicely in my makeup bag and purse. The shadows are pretty with a combo of matte and shimmer. The shades are very pigmented and creamy. I recommend it.

Review for: Pixi - Mesmerizing Mineral Palette Opal Glow more...
I absolutely love almost all pixi products, but for this product I can’t say that I do. I had purchased a different palette that I really loved, but this one is not pigmented at all. This one barely even picks up any eyeshadow when you swipe with your finger. It has a weird, hard, texture to it. Love pixi, just not this palette!

This palette is ok, but is not very pigmented.  To get decent color coverage you will have to use water or skin oil.  The darker colors are not bad, but do come out more like violet or lilac rather than plum.  Otherwise, it is highly blendable, and does give an ok variety of color.

I actually didn’t get this palette I got that Sunset Mattes palette and it was no good. I know that Pixi has some nice products but this one just was not pigmented and looked SO ashy. I don’t know if all palettes were like this but it was not cute. I got mine from Target.

These are very pretty and shimmery. I like the colors and combinations. These have some fallout. These blend easily but be careful they can be blended away. These last longer with a primer than just bare.

How do you guys feel about this palette? Good pigmentation? Any fallout? Too sparkly? How's the brush/applicator that it comes with? Thanks!

I've heard the colors in the Pixi palettes aren't very pigmented or long lasting. Has anyone who has used them have an opinion?
