This peeler works really well. It's is very sharp, long lasting i use it a lot on potatoes. Cleaning is very easy. Word of caution: Do not get your finger near the blade as you are peeling. It will take skin.

This peeler is absolutely fantastic!! It's so easy to use, it's light and peels so thin and perfect. The handle is wide for a great grip. It is nicely colored and it comes with a safety cap for the blade. It's so easy to clean up with a quick wash by hand. I peeled an apple within 2 minutes super close, not losing any apple but the skin. I'm getting afew more to cover the family when they are over peeling bags of potatoes for holidays.

In my hand the peeler felt cheap. I was worried at first, but then one single swipe proved me wrong. My old peeler would leave small spots of skin and I'd have to go over certain spots multiple times. This one peeled a 5lb bag of potatoes in minutes and I never once had to go over the same spot more than once. I'd recommend this.
