Is the applicator plastic or a brush?

The applicator is a sponge, but I would go with a brush!

I wouldn't even worry about using the applicator, just use a normal blush brush and you will be good to go!

The applicator is actually a sponge that is so thin and the handle is a soft plastic. Can be use as a blush brush but not good for contouring.
