This product is user-friendly thee sound is a bit loud, which may make it seem unsafe, but in fact, it’s safer than using a razor, at least for me. The instructions are clear and helpful however, I discovered that the bikini trimmer works better in wet conditions, while the shaver works better on damp skin. It may not be as smooth as shaving with a razor, but the hair is short enough (less than 1mm) to continue with IPL later. Moreover, even though it has a bit of a spikey feeling when touched, it doesn’t cause any itching like razor (I always used exfoliator before and oil after).
