This is a great place if you need an emergency can of dog food or cat food but the selection is not as great as I had hoped. 

I really like petco, every time I go in some one always greats me with a smile people are so nice and they have great customer service

I like Petco, but their stores always seem cramped to me.  Also I have a competitor a couple of blocks from my home so I don't go to Petco that often.  However, when I do go, their staff has always been very helpful and they carry bigger sizes of some products than I can find elsewhere.  Lastly, if you adopt a pet from a rescue or Humane Society, they will give you a great coupon book.

Petco has a great selection for all your pets needs and usually have everything in stock, however they a priced a bit higher than most of their competitors 

I have a Pals Rewards Card for the place, the savings are great, and there's a wide range of pet products! I go shopping there for my three birds; Lulu 1, Lulu 2, and Lulu 3 and my Havanese, Snoopy. The employees from the Petco I visit are very friendly and helpful, always asking if I need help when I'm having trouble picking a new kind of dog treat or toys for my little parakeets.

The variety, again, is wonderful! There is simply everything for any kind of pet (as long as it's not exotic) in the store. Splendid customer service, and I guess the store doesn't smell bad.

Petco is the only place I am able to purchase the cat food my cat needs in order to help him stop coughing up hair balls.

Fantastic customer service and a great environment for pets and pet owners alike. I love that you can bring your dogs in and that they have such a wide variety of toys, food, leashes, and other accessories. However, some of their prices are a little high, so I usually wait for the sales, and the stores usually have more of a warehouse feel, so that might not be for all people.

Petco is great for a variety of items your pet could ever want or need! Some things are a bit more pricey than in other stores, but they do have a rewards program which allows you to get some things at a lower price each week!

I have been to a couple different petcos, and they all seem a little dark and unorganized compared to Petsmart. I haven't purchased much here because it's just really not an appealing atmosphere. The one thing I do really like is the treat bar (I think they have a name for it)... where you can pick and choose different dog treats. 

Pet of does offer a lot of products which is nice however as a dog owner with three dogs all with allergies, I'd love to see more grain free products,also a bigger line of boots and sock is for those feet kickers in my life

Every time I go there I have great customer service however they are little more expensive and Petsmart and other specialty stores but they also have things to other stores don't carry in their staff is very helpful and knowledgeable

I live in the Pittsburgh, Pa area and have had mostly good experiences with our Petco. We adopted one of our two cats from this store, granted the have a partnership with the Animal Rescue League and that's where she came from, but we've gotten supplies as well and have had mostly good customer service! 

Not really liking this store much, a lot of the locations have poor lighting, poor customer service and are filled with overpriced merchandise. The only upside I see to this place is that they have many locations to serve you.

I've always received excellent customer service at Petco and their stores seem to be less busy than other pet retail chains. They have a great rewards program too!

I recently found a pet store that prices were way better  i couldn't belive it a bag of natural dog food is 50 dollars and i got it there for 30.... just love but other then that i would have kept shopping there

I love that they carry a large selection of natural cat and dog food brands.  Also, their loyalty program is great!  I do all my pet shopping here for my cat, dog, and turtle.

I prefer to go to petco over petsmart. There seems to be better customer service and a better selection of varies items not just food. 

This store has great prices! It also has great sales all the time, great prices on organic dog food, and I trust and love the people there who cut my dog's hair

I think that for the necessities it's a very nice store and all but it's hard to get a person to help you and I feel like no one is really too savvy on animal products. Anyway, if you know what you need specifically then it's an okay store. I think it's also a lot more expensive here, I buy dog food there and it's about $15 a bag where as a smaller pet supply store had a BIG BAG for $40 and the small one for $10. 

Anyone interested in testing pet products for free in exchange of honest review?
