My dog surprisingly does not hide from me when I bring these out. The fact that it is my own finger makes her less timid and she does not seem to mind the mint taste. Her breath smells a lot better afterwards! Her concern is bad breath rather than tarter.

This product is great for my cat dash. It really helps keep his teeth clean and breath fresh. He eats soft food with tuna on occasion and his breath smells. But after using this it help a lot with the odor.
