Persona 4 Golden (PS Vita)
Following in the footsteps of Persona 3 Portable, the second highest rated PSP game of all time, and based on Persona 4, one of the most beloved ATLUS titles ever, P4G delivers an enhanced and expanded portable roleplaying experience. The game's aural presentation is better than ever, with 1.5 times the voiced dialogue of the original release. A new online dungeon rescue feature allows users to call on other players for assistance when they are about to die in the TV world. P4G is also overflowing with new content: new Personas to collect; new story events along with an all new character; stunning new anime cut scenes, which include a new opening animation with a new song from master composer Shoji Meguro; a host of fan suggested tweaks and changes, and much, much more! The story takes you on many turns as you play a young transfer student who makes friends very quickly. You form bonds with them and they help you out in the game. It's turn based once you get into battles and you can control your friends (picking their moves) so that is a plus. It's a jam packed game like most of the persona games and it'll take you on a wild trip.
It's honestly a great game and if you have a Vita give it a shot.
The storyline is very well written, and allows for many playthroughs where you can choose different directions to go in the game (such as which characters to get close to.) There are also multiple endings.
There are two separate parts of gameplay. There are points where you spend time talking to characters and enjoy much of the story. Then there is the fighting portion, where you have turn-based combat against enemies. Both are handled well and there isn't too much of one over the other.
Overall a fantastic game which I highly recommend!
