I purchased and made this coffee for the first time recently and love it! I tend to prefer a bolder coffee so I chose this dark roast blend. I like that it provides a fresh, bold taste and no bitterness at the finish. I grind this coffee fresh daily for my coffee so that helps with the freshness, I’m sure! I’ll continue purchasing this coffee!

Dark, rich, robust, and bold, Major Dickason's checks off all the boxes of what makes the perfect cup of coffee. This is my household's favorite blend of coffee. I've drank it for about 10 years and I'm not slowing down. If I want a little bit of a different flavor, I'll make a bag of my own blend at the grocery store and put a little of those grounds in my coffee pot with some Major Dickason's, doing a 50/50 thing, but the Major is always involved in one way or another. Trust me, this is far better than the other brand chain that has a coffee house on every other corner because it's trendy. Peet's makes some other amazing blends as well, but Major Dickason's will always be the favorite. If only I had discovered it sooner, as it's been around since 1969!

Peet’s Major Dickason’s dark roast makes a smooth, never bitter, very drinkable cup of coffee. This coffee has a good aroma and tastes what a plain back coffee should taste like. I like to let the coffee sit in the carafe for about 10 minutes following brewing to allow the flavors to fully meld. Recommend.
