I tried this shampoo before and I was impressed by how much the shampoo locked in my color. It made my color look vibrant and it didn't fade out my color. Even after I dyed it the second day I washed it I seen no color wash out it locked it all in and it made my color look refreshed everytime. Its very safe and gentle to use everyday. It doesn't make your color look dull and it doesn't make your hair feel greasy either. It cleans my hair really good making it feel very clean without any harsh chemicals that strip out color. I love this shampoo but its a bit pricey but its well worth the price because of how it keeps your color looking shiny and vibrant after every wash. You can purchase at your salon or at a beauty supply store. They don't sell this at regular stores you have to get it at a beauty supply store that carry paul mitchell products. My hair always feels very clean and it smells so good I really love the scent to it. Paul mitchell color protect daily shampoo also protects it from heat that fade color out.
This shampoo did an amazing job of keeping color in my hair for years. I haven't colored my hair in a while but still continue to use it because I love how well it cleans my oily hair.
I love this shampoo!! I see a difference in how long my color lasts before it starts to rinse. I have normal hair and wash 1-2 times per week with cold water and this shampoo to make my color last as long as possible. I would purchase this shampoo again.
I’ve used almost every single product in the Paul Mitchell collection (including pets) at some point. I used to go to a Paul Mitchell salon to get my hair done. The one thing I have to say is they’re all similar in quality - some stand out very slightly more than others, but overall there are much better salon quality products on the market. While this is a good shampoos I’d recommend opting for something different.
This shampoo is amazing. I have colored dark red hair. It lathers so great and cleans out everything from my hair. I’ve been using this for about 2/3 months since I died my hair and it looks about the same color. It’s a bit faded and more red and not as dark. But it’s so good at protecting your color and it’s perfect to pair with their color protect conditioner!
This is a great, salon quality color protecting shampoo. It’s a little difficult to find in stores sometimes, so I usually end up getting it at salons that carry Paul Mitchell brands, but if you have a hair color like red that bleeds out easily, this shampoo is definitely worth it. It also smells really yummy!
I purchased this product thinking it would be color safe & sulfate free due to the name of the product. That was not the case. I started using the product and quickly realized after a few washes my hair was feeling more damaged. I checked the ingredients and sulfate is one of the main ingredients. Anyone who gets their hair colored knows not to use sulfate products. Even people who don’t color their hair should not use sulfate products due to the harsh effects it has on your hair. I was very disappointed and actually mad at myself I didn’t read the ingredients before purchasing. Lesson learned, don’t trust names of products!
I dye my hair a decent amount and I’ve found that this shampoo dries out my hair a ton. It becomes brittle super fast and i ended up having to use a deep conditioning mask to restore the health (by matrix). I use and love a ton of other Paul Products but this one just did not work for me.

I bleached my hair and dyed it back a silvery grey color and now, after two washes, the grey is gone and my hair is blonde. Has this shampoo stripped anyone's hair or did mine just not take well to the dye?
I just dyed my hair purple/lavender and want it to last as long as possible. Any opinions on this shampoo or recommend any others?
