Review for: Paraphernalia more...
I fell in love with color Paraphernalia after seeing it on Instagram. I ordered this gloss the day it became available at Sephora and after receiving it I feel disappointed. It looks very beautiful in the tube and it swatches nicely on a hand, but once applied on the lips it just look meh. I mean it is beautiful, but nothing like online or hand swatches. It has a nice wet/glass finish. It is not very pigmented and the shade looks too sheer on the lips by itself. Unless you layer and layer and layer. I had to redip 3 times to get a nicer more opaque color, but at that point it becomes too wet looking, almost as if you swiped oil on your lips. It is ok when used on top of a lipstick, but still doesn’t look as I was hoping to, so I’m not keeping it.

Though it is a light, nice lip gloss that would work fine if I wasn’t looking for a specific color/look.

Let’s not even pretend that Pat McGrath Labs does not make the best lipgloss on the market. The colors, the packaging, the longevity of wear! The only reason I didn’t rate it 5 stars is because although I know it will always keep my kisser looking great, it’s heavy and very sticky. Despite this, if I know that I will be attending a function or event where I will have limited opportunities to touch up, its my go to. Apply, go, forget.
It can be, for some, an investment. Unless you’re fortunate enough to receive as a gift or in a sub box (and I have yet to see that happen) be prepared to cough it up. As expensive as it can be it is worth the price.

Pat McGrath came through on these lip glosses. They are literally the best lip glosses I have tried by far. They are not sticky formula at all, glide on like butter and melt into your lips, the formula is hydrating, the color payoff is beautiful, it's not overly shimmery but just perfect. As I said my lips will be poppin the summer, I absolutely live pat McGrath and definitely ordering more of these. PAT McGRATH LABS Lust: Gloss

All of Pats lip tubes are fantastic. They are somewhat less expensive at least this line is then say Huda Lips which I adore and even the Sephora name brand. They go on smoothly and last a long time and they don’t dry my lips out I can’t recommend them highly enough. Start with one and you’ll soon find out that you need them all LOL.

I follow pat McGRATH labs on Instagram and finally broke down and ordered several lipsticks, glosses and lip pencils because all the pictures and videos were so beautiful. I received my order and used this gloss today. On Instagram it was a beautiful vibrant coral and on me it showed up as a pale neutral. Horrible.

I do love this luxurious gloss. I try to use one each day lol . These glosses aren’t sticky as some do. Some do have glitter and some don’t. Sometimes I use them on top of lipstick. They are pricey but worth it. Go to ur near Sephora to swatch them. I’m using Red Blood in this picture.

I bought this after seeing it featured at the met gala. it has a really glossy, reflective sheen without being super glittery. The consistency is thick, but not sticky. I am definitely looking forward to purchasing more colors even though it is a bit pricier than other glosses.

A pretty sheer coral gloss. It’s not sticky and has a nice light vanilla scent. The scent is similar to Mac glosses. It does not stay on your lips too long so you must reapply. It provides shine and a lovely shade for summer, especially with a bronzed look.

Has anyone purchased the PAT McGRATH LABS Lust: Gloss ??? I can't bring myself to buy it. I want to wait. Pat McGrath sadly is known for the swatches and images online not quite accurately representing the colors on the lips in real life. I fell for her ig advertising and want to try the red and the white gold one.

Has anyone purchased this? Is it worth the money? How pigmented are the red-toned glosses?
