My husband and I started watching this show when I was pregnant with our first son. Once you become a paren't or learning you are becoming one, you see the world differently. This show is relatable on so many levels and makes you realize how truly important family is. It is a show that made me cry with sadness and laughter all within one episode. It is a series I could watch over and over again. In fact, I watched it through twice! Each time I get to the final episode I sob like a baby and wish I could be a Braverman! It's a beautiful show about a strong family that experiences all life's triumphs, set backs, tragedies, and anything you could think of. But some how, they always over come it together!

What a show!! After watching this show, if you did not wish that you were apart of the Braverman clan, you didn't fully appreciate the show. Parenthood follows Camille and Zeek Braverman and their 4 children, (Adam, Sarah, Julia, Crosby) and their own families as well. This show deals with family, inter-racial couples, disabilities, divorce, single-parent families, love, and real-life issues that other shows may steer clear of. I was very sad when I finished the series, but you will not be disappointed. This is one of those shows that gets better with every season, so give it a try (now streaming on Netflix)...just try not to get attached to the characters as much as I did (good luck!).

I don't think there was one episode in this entire series that did not make me cry and I don't see that as a bad thing. The complexity of characters the relationships in each character's the patriarch and matriarch of the family everything was articulated portrayed beautifully. it made me look at my family unit and see where we were going wrong I didn't help me learn to fix it. to see how the brothers and sisters and family interaction with each other and even though they may have hurt each other or screwed up majorly but in the end they were family and they always came back together and that is how I want to raise my family in the future my only complaint is that the series is over

Parenthood is an eye opening, factually based and family friendly TV series. The show follows the Bravernman family and the ups and downs in their lives. Each character (adults and kids alike) has a rich story line and is relate-able. The thing that really makes this one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE shows is the way Aspergers is presented. As a mother of a high functioning autistic child; I felt comfort, happiness, sadness and validation in each episode. Parenthood is no longer on the air (although a resurrection of the series has been discussed online recently) but no need for despair. If I need to get my Parenthood fix, I go to Netflix...until the show is resurrected.

My husband and I love this show! We started watching it near the end of 2012 and we instantly fell in love. We really enjoyed Friday Night Lights, which had the same creators as Parenthood, so we figured we'd like it. I think it's even better! I'm still in my 20s so I can sometimes relate to the teens on the show, but being married and about to start a family of my own, I can also relate to the parents. It can sometimes be difficult with such a large ensemble cast, but for the most part I think they do a great job of hitting all the story lines and character. Some characters are emphasized more than others in certain episodes or seasons, but this is to be expected with so many characters. I love how real the show seems, and everyone I know who watches it loves it. I just wish more people watched it so I didn't have to worry if it would get picked up for another season every year!

I started Parenthood toward the end but was caught up. Fell in love with the characters and storyline. Hated to see it end but felt at peace the way it went. Like saying goodbye to your best friends.

I recommend this show to anyone. At first, I didn't know how i would like it. But, after a few episodes, i couldn't stop watching. The drama is so real as if you are experiencing it with the cast.

This series was the most realistic and heartwarming story of all time in my opinion. The complexity of the characters allowed them to develop as freely as humans in real life. This show never failed to make me cry. One moment you would be rooting for a character and the next, you'd be against them. It kept the storyline interesting that these were people making good & bad decisions just like we all do. And then to watch them grow in age and mature through experience was wonderful. I truly enjoyed this show. Zeke's passing was the last straw for me & I think it was only right for the show to end at that point.

This show is happy, sad and everything in-between, just like real life. It is so good it will probably be taken off the air so that we can be exposed to more of the trash which makes up a lot of todays TV. I also think the brother and sister interaction is great, they can be mad and blow off steam without it becoming a federal case. The marriages are real as well, with different definitions of a good marriage and whats involved. My favorite part though is the relationship between the aunts and uncles and the kids, you treat your own children one way while watching out for the nieces and nephews. Great stuff
