These pencils are great for young writers. I love that they were presharpened so using them was easy. They write, sharpen, and erase nicely and they lead doesn’t break a lot like some other pencils do and they’re affordable enough that I don’t get upset when they get lost.

My son in grade 4, loves using this pencil. It’s easy to hold and write. It’s very comfortable to use. It does not break easily. It has a perfect grip to hold on to.

I find these Paper Mate mechanical pencils are the best. You get a smooth pencilpoint and really nice lead that writes like a dream. It is my favoriteand my go to.
