The Braun was a well-designed, durable, and effective shaver. This razor served me faithfully, requiring minimal maintenance—just an occasional cleaning, a drop of oil, and a charge whenever the indicator light came on.

Shaves excellent and within 2.5 minutes I have a comfortable close shave that lasts the whole day. The battery lasts more than a week and cleaning is super easy. I have owned the arc 5 for 9 years and the battery has just started to act up. I purchased a newer model arc 5 and I'm sure I will have it for many years of use.
