Loved the moisturizer from this line so thought I'd equally love the eye cream right? Wrong. Disclaimer: I am very prone to milia, but I like to use that as a guide as to what is really worth the money, great product, and to see what ingredient is causing this. I'll give credit where it is due: I like how this product comes in a squeezy tube so it makes it easy to apply and you don't have to use your fingers. This product also lasts long. Onto the actual honest review: As I have mentioned, for $16 (it's discounted right now on their own website if you want to try it for yourself although I would def not recommend) you get a good amount of product. It felt lightweight, not irritating or itchy and has no fragrance which is nice. Was it the most hydrating? No. Did I feel like the ceramides strengthen the skin around my eye area (like I felt the face moisturizer from this collection did)? Also no. Ingredients wise this product sounds fabulous : three different types of ceramides, glycerin is the second on the ingredients list, squalene is the fifth, infused with two sources of vitamin E, glycolipids to strengthen and cholesterol a cell-membrane soluble protein, and marshmallow extract for soothing. I honestly do not know why this product caused me milia. I was surprised that there is no fragrance in it since a good amount of their products include fragrance and it is a leading ingredient that causes me to produce milia. I want to possibly say it's because alcohol is at the top of the ingredients list and has two different types of alcohol listed. Why have alcohol in an eye cream? Who knows. I'll admit this: I saw milia production maybe after a month or so after using this product. It was just too good to be true. In conclusion, I didn't even finish up my own tube of this stuff because I didn't want the milia getting worse. I was so bummed out because I really wanted to like it. Would I recommend? Nope. Nor will I ever think of repurchasing this.
