I can't say with 100% certainty but I don't believe this helped my skin. (Just a note that I did see some major changes in the appearance of my skin because it started appearing much fuller by the time I finished this product, but I believe this was due to other product(s) or factors and not due to this product) I used this product with the hope of helping with acne scarring. To be fair, I've tried retinol and tretinoin (while I was still having acne) before with no success so it's not necessarily a surprise that this didn't work, but now that my acne breakouts are under control I wanted to slowly introduce a gentler product to see if it could address some of the damage. I will say the product was on the gentler side; my skin was slightly more sensitive one day soon after I started using the product but that was a standalone case and I don't know if it was because of this product or not to this day. In addition, I also noticed I got small bumps/whiteheads while using this product. I'm not fully sure whether it was this product that caused it, but I believe it was because I started having the issue once I started using this product. So, overall, this product had a detrimental effect on my skin, though not a severe one. I'd recommend others try for themselves because it could help their skin even though it didn't work for me. Besides the bumps/whitehead issue, I don't have any major complaints about the product. I liked the texture and scent of the product (though it didn't smell like the typical jasmine scent). Like most Pacifica products, it's a product that I found pleasant to use because of the scent. It is tacky/thick like others said which is probably less than ideas for a dropper container but wasn't a major issue for me personally. I kinda can see where others were coming from in their reviews when they said the product feels half empty because it felt like it ended quickly and the eyedropper never really fills up bc of the tackiness. But none of that was a dealbreaker for me. In the end, the reason I'm not repurchasing this product is because it did not seem to help my skin personally (or it may have, and I just didn't notice) and may have caused new issues my skin did not have before (albeit minor ones).

Pacifica Beauty has built quite a reputation for itself in the realm of clean and cruelty-free skincare, and their Clean Shot - Granactive Retinoid 5% in Seawater is no exception. As a skincare enthusiast who is always on the lookout for effective products that are also gentle on the environment, I was excited to try this innovative blend. 📍Packaging and Presentation: Right out of the box, the presentation of the Clean Shot is sleek and modern. The glass bottle feels premium and is equipped with a dropper that allows for precise application. The earthy, ocean-inspired design hints at the product's unique ingredient profile, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to clean beauty. 📍Texture and Application: The serum has a lightweight, slightly viscous consistency that glides smoothly onto the skin. It absorbs quickly without leaving any greasy residue, which is a significant plus for those with oily or combination skin. The first time I applied it, the refreshing feeling of the seawater component was noticeable, and it added a touch of hydration that made my skin feel revitalized. 📍Key Ingredients: What sets this product apart, however, is its formulation. The 5% Granactive Retinoid is a notable inclusion, as it aims to deliver the benefits of retinoids without some of the harsh side effects typically associated with them, such as irritation or dryness. This makes it ideal for those who may be starting their retinol journey or have sensitive skin. Incorporating seawater into the formula adds a unique twist, as it is rich in minerals and nutrients that can help to hydrate and nourish the skin. I appreciated that Pacifica has leveraged nature in combination with advanced science to create a well-rounded product. 📍Results: After several weeks of use, I began to notice a visible improvement in my skin's texture and overall appearance. Fine lines appeared softer, and there was a visible plumpness to my skin that I hadn’t experienced with other retinoid products. I appreciated that there was no peeling or redness—a common occurrence with traditional retinoids. This gentle approach made it easy to incorporate into my nightly routine. 📍Scent: For those sensitive to fragrances, it's worth noting that the serum has a subtle, natural scent reminiscent of the ocean. It’s not overpowering, but it does have a fresh, briny note that some users might find unusual. Personally, I found it refreshing and aligned with the brand's ethos. 📍Overall Experience: Pacifica Beauty Clean Shot - Granactive Retinoid 5% in Seawater is indeed a standout product in the realm of retinoids. It balances efficacy with gentleness, making it accessible to a wider range of skin types. If you’re looking for a clean, effective solution to tackle signs of aging without the typical irritation associated with retinol, I highly recommend giving this product a try. 📍Final Thoughts: Pacifica continues to impress with innovative formulations that prioritize skin health and environmental sustainability. Whether you're a skincare newbie or a seasoned veteran, this Clean Shot is a worthy addition to your regimen. With its combination of science and nature, you can indulge in a bit of ocean magic while caring for your skin.
